Hotel Lago Maggiore - Welcome! is situated on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city centre. Hotel Lago Maggiore - Welcome! Everything was just perfect - the location literally 2 min walk from the station yet in a quiet street with an amazing view in the lake. All rooms are modern, spacious, comfortable with a balcony and a view. Even the rooms on the first floor are quiet with a lovely view on the lake and on flowers. The staff was super nice and efficient. Walking distance to the station, center and walks around the lake. We loved it so mix that we extended by one night.

We had a wonderful stay! The design of the rooms was truly impressive — spacious, beautifully decorated, and with a bright, open feel thanks to the high ceilings. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, offering both quality and abundance with plenty of options to choose from. The spa area was another highlight — clean, relaxing, and with a pleasant fragrance throughout, especially in the Turkish sauna. Overall, a perfectly balanced mix of comfort, elegance, and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

It turns out that the spectacular view is surpassed by the incredible service. Katiusca was amazing! We felt so welcomed and so grateful for all the extra things she did for us. She organised my favourite wine and aperitivo for a romantic evening. We used their brand new e-bikes to visit the town easily. Katiusca brought us some special cake cooked by her mother for Swiss National Day and invited us to join a local celebration. Everything was perfect and I just didn’t want to leave, I felt like I had found a new friend! The whole experience was wonderful. I don’t often leave reviews but this was so well deserved. Thank you.
