The property was beautiful and relaxing. The pool is perfect for the times we didn't swim in the sea. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food and drinks provided were delicious and reasonably priced. Good pressure and hot water if needed in the shower! Would definitely stay again!

I honestly enjoyed it so much. I even left the beach early just to relax in the hammock on the balcony and take in the quiet surroundings. The beach is a bit of a walk, but that actually made the place feel more peaceful and secluded, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, and Lina, the host, was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Also saw many different types of birds! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a calm and unique place to stay in Palomino.

I especially appreciated the peaceful ambiance and the touches that reflected the local Wayuu heritage. The neighborhood was a true highlight—quiet yet close to everything. Just a short walk from the malecón, I could enjoy sunsets over the sea, delicious street food, and vibrant local markets. It felt authentic, welcoming, and safe, with friendly locals and a laid-back vibe that made me want to stay longer. This was the ideal base for exploring La Guajira—from Cabo de la Vela to the salt flats of Manaure. Whether you're here to relax or to adventure, this spot is a perfect launchpad. I’ll definitely be back!

Very clean. I've seen people extend their stay! Howling monkeys wake you up. You cross the jungle for 20 minutes to arrive to a wild beach. One hour walk on the beach to Palomino. Kayaks. Yoga. A motorbike can take you to the village anytime for 6,000 pesos. Breakfast included (7.30-9.30h). There's a daily menu for lunch (13.00-15.00h) and for dinner (19.00-21.00h) with vegetarian option (falafel 20.000 pesos), chicken or beef (25.000 pesos) or fried fish (35.000). Unlimited water refill for 5000 per day.

Really friendly dog and 2 cats. Quiet at night (after 23 the hostel near by stops playing music). Really good value for the money.
