You will feel so welcomed by the family who owns the hostel - they are so kind and gracious and make you feel so comfortable and at home. The vegetarian meals were huge and delicious and there was banana bread available all day as well as coffee and tea. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The cat Theresa is so friendly and the sweetest little boy lives here!!

The main house, cabins, yoga rooms and spa (!) are all gorgeous and wonderfully well equipped. We loved the family-style meals at dinner and breakfast, the yoga class and the jacuzzi in the spa. The team went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable at any given moment :) We had an absolutely amazing time here and would strongly recommend that you stay at least two nights!

Really recommend Rondador Cotopaxi for anyone wanting to enter the national park from the south. The staff are so kind and helpful, especially Fernando, who goes above and beyond to help, including to arrange pick up from the bus stop along the panamerican if needed. You can book trips to the park directly with them, and because of the location, you can get to the volcano early and before the clouds roll in. The food is really good and the rooms are clean, warm and full of fresh flowers.

There is a children's playground and a barbecue at this property and guests can go cycling nearby. We had a great time at the lodge during a two-night stay. Adrien provided an abundance of information about the local culture and volcanos, and organized a day trip to Cotopaxi with a local guide. The lodge is also a fully functioning farm with pigs, llamas, goats, chickens, horses, and most endearing to us, dogs. Anouk was always waiting for us in the doorway to throw the latest piece of wood she had found. The bed we slept in was very comfortable with a heated blanket and an additional heater in the room. There was a firepit in our room that we regrettably didn't end up using, but it's there for those who enjoy fireside relaxation. Adrien prepared breakfast and dinner each day for us, all of which were filling and delicious.

The property has an outdoor dining area. I cooked breakfast myself so it was good. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, internet is pretty fast.

A recently renovated campground situated in Latacunga, La Cabaña de Ciela con jacuzzi y minigolf features a garden. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The house was very comfortable, and the hosts were very thoughtful. They gave great instructions on how to locate the property. They delivered breakfast the following morning, and it was delicious.
