On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. We had a great stay at Leenane Hotel. It's a very well maintained place with great rooms, excellent food and friendly staff. It's also dog friendly which is a rare thing in the area. What really stood out as well - the price we paid was more than fair.

Beachfront Location: The Furthest Point West in Ballyconneely offers a private beach area and direct beachfront access. Guests can enjoy sea and mountain views from the property. Laura was really great and welcoming (and makes the best cinnamon rolls). The room and bathroom is clean, the view and surroundings spectacular. Couldn't have asked for more

Standing at the head of Cashel Bay, this hotel is set in 50 acres of award-winning gardens and woodlands. Cashel House offers luxurious bedrooms, fine dining and a private beach. We loved our stay at Cashel House Hotel. 5 stars for everything facilities, staff, food..incredible. We can't wait to return.

The hosts were wonderful, resolving a booking issue without leaving us with the burden. They were welcoming, accomodating our requests and always with a smile and good sense of humor. The location is wonderful. One of the most beautiful places on earth - and we have seen a lot. The food was excellent, continuing our unexpected excellent culinary experiences along the west coast of Ireland.

On the edge of beautiful, scenic Connemara and with magnificent sea views over Ardbear Bay, this charming hotel offers individually decorated en suite rooms and a superb award-winning restaurant. I really appreciated being able to bring my dog and have her be welcome indoors. The food was exceptional. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. The environment was calm and serene. The setting is gorgeous.
