Clean comfortable rooms, delicious food for lunch and dinner. We only ate here; the establishments on the Neil don’t know how to cook. It was a cozy and beautiful area, a calm, quiet place with few people. There was internet, air conditioning, hot water. The owner takes care of this place. We felt comfortable and pleasant.

Some places you go and somehow all the guests just come together. Shivanker is the perfect host, warm hearted and hospitable. He has created a little backpacker haven. His whole set up is geared toward community. very quiet and peaceful setting, yet a lovely communal area that brings everyone together. I totally understand why everyone loves it. We shared food, made friends and had a wonderful few days that felt like home. He even gave me boyfriend fishing tips and he caught a big fish that we all ate together!

Every room is fitted with a terrace with sea views and free WiFi. Manoj's coordination and help throughout our stay was excellent!! we were well supported. Logistics including local transport like cab etc were readily made available. The home cooked meals courtesy of the hosts (Manoj's parents) were exactly that - felt like home! My kids who are normally fussy eaters packed in a solid breakfast lunch and dinner every day. We also scored a nice trip to the local fish market on request, that was memorable for the kids. We do plan on visiting the Andaman islands again, and a stay at The Port Vista is definitely on the list!
