Very modern but at the same time cozy, super clean with very nice rooms and comfy beds. We were the only guests as it was the last day of the season and the owner upgraded us with two rooms instead of one. Very appreciated :) There is also a natural hot spring not so far from the guesthouse that you can use.

Great location. We especially enjoyed using the gorgeous garden.

We truly enjoyed every moment at Nyp! The setting is peaceful and beautiful. The house itself is very spacious and has everything you need. The meals are the best we have had in our visit to Iceland. We had two dinners and two breakfasts. The food was fresh, organic, and delicious. I wish we had stayed longer. The hosts are friendly, kind and helpful. They were very good at advising us about where to visit in the area.

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with bathrobes and slippers. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Property was easily located. Once inside very clean and comfortable. Many “extra” details noted including charging area, some toiletries. Soft towels. The sofa bed converted easily and was large and comfortable. Would be great as a low key getaway but also a nice home base for a small family. Games, maps and information on area attractions all available. We easily could have done much of our touring from there.
