On the occasion of the carnival, we were treated to the local dessert "bugie", a delicious thing. The location is excellent, a step away from the pedestrian street and a few minutes from the station and funicular to Pila. It was possible to check in earlier and check out later. We had thought of staying at a large hotel in Courmayeur with a spa and I believe a Michelin star, but we were all so happy with our choice, knowing that what we received was a unique experience, a treasured, star-studded highlight of our trip to Italy.
