On top of that the staff is great with a really detailed attention in keeping the rooms tidy every single day and multiple times a day + a chef that cooked us the most delicious dishes + they arrange transport depending on your needs ! The perfect mix to just lay back and enjoy your holidays!

The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Everything about Jannat House was awesome. The pool was so nice to cool off in the HOT Lamu climate. Honestly, I dont think we could have survived the heat without the pool. The service was amazing. We felt so welcomed. Like a home away from home. The chef provided an impromptu cooking class to show up how to cook the fish we caught. Carol provided good advice and has a reputation for being a good, honest, and caring manager. There are alot of areas to lounge in the shade. Its quiet but close to everything. When we come back to Lamu, this is the only place we will stay due to our warm, lovely experience. THANK YOU!!

There are a lot of good and not expensive restaurants around. The owner of the house did all to make it more than comfortable, arranged a pick up from the airport, gave me a free upgrade of the room, asked every day if I need or wish something, helped to find a amazing boat tour and enable to stay in the house a few hours longer.
