The home itself is beautifully designed — clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable — with thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the hosts are warm and welcoming, always ready to help or share insights about the area. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the cooking class with Chef Janith. He is not only a talented chef but also a wonderful teacher. With great patience and passion, he guided us through each step of preparing a traditional Sri Lankan meal, sharing stories, tips, and local knowledge along the way. The setup was perfect, and the food we created was absolutely delicious. I left Kandy Living not just with amazing memories, but with new cooking skills, a deeper appreciation for Sri Lankan culture, and the feeling of having been truly cared for. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy — it’s more than just a stay; it’s a full, heartfelt experience.

Even though my stay was for only one night, I was welcomed and helped with everything that I needed to organize for my stay from transfers to lunch and concert tickets. The room is clean, comfortable and has a beautiful balcony area. Even though it’s a little out from downtown; that did not affect my stay in any way. Owner and my stay. Suneth was amazing, he is always ready to help, as soon as I arrived, he welcomed me with passion fruit juice, it was very refreshing. Even though, I stayed for one night, he gave me a detailed map of Kandy, places I can explore within a day. My stay was amazing and I had a great time in kandy, will visit this stay again.

Villa had all amenities and was kept exceptionally clean. It was just a 1 night stay. Wish we had stayed longer. and caretakers led by Raj were exceptional. They took care of every need. Food they prepared for dinner and complimentary breakfast had great taste and went with our specific needs. Can't ask anything more. Would highly recommend.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. This is a hidden gem in the mountains of Kandy, away from traffic and noise of the downtown. I was so happy that we stayed there. First and most important is the manager Maxi, a generous and kind man who helped us with everything and we were surrounded by care for the whole visit (short unfortunately). The room itself is huge, we had 1 big living room with king bed and another small room with queen bed with bathroom. Very good shower with constant well pressure of hot water. The balcony is lovely with spectacular view to the hills and local houses. Breakfast was on the open terrace and very tasty with fresh juices and nicely cooked eggs. Once in Kandy I definitely come back to the place as it is well maintained and the management is really taking care of the guests.
