In the affordable price range it is worth it. Owner was very friendly and shared few srilankan coins as my 13 year old son is coin collector so as her son. The place is surrounded by nature and quiet, and at a walking distance from the best restaurant (Kenoli) and from the best spa (Serendip), and also at 20 min walk from the entrance of the fortress of Sigirya. You can get free bottled water anytime. The place is safe as there is always someone at the entrance. The owners are also very kind, this place is full of good energies and very peaceful. I think I also learned a lot about the Sinhala culture cause it was a bit like a Couchsurfing experience. I met some great travellers in the hostel! It was definitely my best stay in Sri Lanka and I'm grateful for that. The rooms are also very nice and clean.

Bernard and the staff were incredibly nice. Bernard helped to organise our four day itinerary with sunrise and sunset hikes to Pidarungala and Lion rock. Furthermore he helped to organise a wonderful cooking class and a Safari. I can't emphasise enough how good a time we had. There are also a couple of cool restaurants right next to the hotel. The stay was amazing, the hotel was clean and we did also have some time to enjoy the pool. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very close to Sigiriiya we were just walking to ticket counter early morning. Like 10 minute walk to ticket counter. Absolutely good service it exceeded my expectation. Great value for money

The host and his family could not do enough to make our stay so very special. A welcome drink on arrival was such a nice touch after travelling and very much appreciated. The food is exceptional and home cooked at a very good price including curry and rice (4 types of curry) or kottu roti or fried rice. Breakfast is amazing - Omelette, pancake with coconut and honey and fruit with a choice of a pot of coffee or tea. The room is a very good space and has a lovely outside seating area to while away the day or evening. Good location for Lion Rock and there is a local community shop 4 minutes away for convenience goods. The whole experience is in the name - Relax Nature. A very calming, tranquil and peaceful location with excellent service and attention provided by the host. Very highly recommended..
