I hosted 13 friends for my birthday and we all had an amazing time. I'm extremely grateful for all the care the team gave us, the fires they lit for us and the massage I got in my bedroom. 🙏🏼 I highly recommend this corner of paradise to travellers who are fed up with the scammy and intense environment of Marrakech.

Decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, the rooms and suites at Riad Alaka have air-conditioning and individual heating. The private bathrooms include free toiletries and a bathrobe. I recommend trying Hamman. We used it on the day of departure and the trip was immediately more enjoyable. The staff are very attentive.

Its bar and lounge has a terrace fitted with sun beds and its courtyard has a seating area around the basin. This Riad is STUNNING. We learned on our trip to Morocco that the word, "Riad," comes from the word for, "paradise," and this place is certainly that, from the moment you enter the courtyard. The rooms are sizable and relaxing and the rooftop provides a wonderful view and plenty of comfort. Amin and his family/staff were so incredibly welcoming, right from the beginning. Truly, they provided some of the most world-class service I've ever experienced. They provided us with everything we needed, gave us many useful tips, arranged for (very well-priced) transport to our next stay in Essaouira, and much more. As English-speakers, we also had no problem at all with communication. It was incredible how peaceful this place felt after returning from a fun day in the controlled-chaos of the medinas. We stayed in three riads on this trip and all of them were great, but this was the favorite by unanimous decision. It's about 1.5 km or 1 mile to Jemaa El-Fnaa, so a little further than some other riads, but it is a very easy, straight walk or a quick, inexpensive tuk-tuk ride away and because it's still inside of the old city walls, there are plenty of vendors, souks, cafes, and restaurants right around the corner. We enjoyed many of them.

Located a short 20 minutes walking distance from the heart of Marrakech and the famous Jamaâ El Fna Square, Riad Losra is a great base from which to wander through the exciting streets of the Souks and discover the historic landmarks of the enchanting Red City. We had the best time in Riad Losra! The staff was extremely accomodating and attentive, nothing presented an issue, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming, the room was super clean, and the breakfast was really nice. We stayed in various riads in Morocco and this one was by far the best. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Amina, the cook, treated us like family and prepared delicious traditional meals that truly felt homemade. Every dish she made was full of flavor and love. The hotel itself is located in a peaceful, relaxing area—perfect for disconnecting from the world. There's a small farm with animals and a garden where they grow food you actually get to eat. They're also eco-friendly, using only solar electricity, which we really appreciated. We genuinely loved our stay here and felt so well cared for. We highly recommend spending 2–3 days to fully enjoy the experience and the warmth of the people.
