For me as a European, the food was amazing. I wouldn’t give the chef just ten stars, but twenty. Very, very delicious good, offered to guests with love — I can truly recommend this place to everyone! Accommodation was really nice, being able to sit on the balcony was really peaceful with great views. Food was also very good. The early evening walk in the desert (which is free) meant being able to see a fantastic desert sunset. Also did the trip to an authentic bedouin camp on the second day which was really interesting and gave a great insight into the culture. Would highly recommend a stay here at royal desert camp.

It was a hot night and the staff put our beds outside the tents, sleeping under the stars and full moon night was above and beyond our expectations. Camel rides were a little pricey but ya gotta do it. Diner and breakfast were traditional and plentiful. We will be back!

I stayed at the desert camp for one night on my own, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

Staying at Desert Diamond Private camp was one of the best experiences I had in Oman. The camp is private and peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and varied — I especially enjoyed the camel meat at dinner. Breakfast on the soft desert sand was unforgettable. The room and bathroom were both beautifully decorated and very clean. The stargazing trip was a magical experience that added a special touch to the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert escape.

The rooms are very clean and beautiful. It is located at the beginning of Wadi Tiwi & Wadi Mibam. Both wadis can be reached by car in about 15 minutes and were great! We skipped Wadi Shab - too many people. You can have dinner at the hotel and it's delicious and fairly priced. Farhan and his staff do a great job and are so friendly and helpful. We can warmly recommend the hotel.

The Owner Said picked us up outside the village, we left the car there and he drove us to he's beautiful desert wave camp. He's such a friendly men, absolutely amazing and he had so many helpful recommendations for our roudtrip. We went for a Camel ride into the sunset and the next morning we flew with a balloon into the sunrise. We very thankful that we meet Said, we a had very good conversations about the Omani culture.
