Nice dock and seating areas, small convenience store for basics, good amount of tropical trees around buildings providing shade from sun. The units were top-notch, fully equipped (kitchen, AC, smart TV) with a lot of space including living room area and patio area. Property manager on site to handle any questions, issues, and help with tour planning.

It is a wonderful casita lodge in the middle of the jungle but 5 minutes from everywhere you need. Maxi and Jane even lent us bicycles to ride around - looking forward to staying here again

The hosts and staff are welcoming, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and chocolate farm. From hiking through the cacao farm and learning about chocolate-making to trying different local fruits and spotting sloths right from the restaurant, every moment was unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that’s more than just a stay — a place that connects you with nature and leaves you feeling inspired — La Loma Lodge is it. Without a doubt, one of the most remarkable travel experiences we’ve ever had. Make sure you stay a bit longer than we did, one night was definitely not enough.

Where the Jungle Meets the Reef,” CocoVivo is a magical eco-retreat on the southern tip of Isla Cristobal. Six private glamping cabins sit over the water, just meters from a vibrant coral reef for easy snorkeling, kayaking, standup paddle boarding, and exploring our private shipwreck. We loved the food and the immediate access to excellent snorkeling. The other guests are friendly. When you are in your house, it still feels like you are enjoying nature. It was an amazing place to spend 6 days!!
