Daniel is lovely and allowed for me to bring my bags early. He showed me a space to do laundry, the kitchen and lounge. The rooms and space is very traditional of a home stay. Simple but comfortable. If I come back to Iquitos, I will be staying here again.

The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

I had plenty of room, a desk to do some work and two hammocks out the back with mosquito net protection to relax with the sounds of the jungle

Towels and bed linen are offered in the apartment. Additional in-room amenities include chocolates or cookies. The host Lidsky give us a warm welcome drink. The house equips with a very clean kitchen, pots, stove, kettle, plates, fridge...etc, so it's easy to make a simple breakfast by ourselves. The airconditions are working well, so it helps us with a humid/warm night in Iquitos. There's no hot water for the shower, but I don't want it, either. It's not far from Mercado Belén.

The two owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. Their way of life is truly authentic—electricity is only available in the afternoon, and everything feels deeply connected to the jungle. One of the highlights was visiting a nearby village and playing football with the locals, which made the experience even more special. If you want a genuine Amazon adventure, this is the place to be!
