We were here in early Jan 2024 and this is an excellent hotel!! (sorry for the late review as we just got back from our travels) Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent room and facilities, and so close to groceries, the train station and bus stop. Especially grateful to Medaline (really sorry if I got the spelling wrong). You are so friendly and informative when we checked in and even helped me bring up 2 large heavy luggages to our room. No staff in any other hotel would have offered and actually helped. Thank you so much!! We decided to stay in Wilderswil instead of Interlaken, when we booked back in late July 2023, as it was only for 3 nights and nearer to the mountains where we would be spending most of our time. Best decision we made was staying here in Edelweiss Lodge and away from the main city (regretting now not having booked a longer stay here). The scenery from our room's balcony was fantastic and the room spacious in spite of the size of the hotel from the outside. Breakfast was exceptional (wifey really enjoyed every one of them :-) )!!! Will definitely stay here again!!!

Very good location with public transport access to villages in the Jungfrau/Interlaken area. Beautiful scenery, walks etc nearby. Fantastic breakfast selection of breads, cheeses, meat and pastries taken at the hotel attached. Helpful staff. Free bus and train travel into Interlaken included (or a 45 minute walk via the Rugenbrau brewery, bar and restaurant)

There is a very cozy home hotel with a tasty restaurant on the first floor. The room with amazing mountain view, the bed was clear and comfortable. The hotel is locatel 3 min from a train station, nearby is a small supermarket. It was wonderful experience to stay in this place and to feel local style.
