It was in a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of Aswan. Puck and her team at the guest house were very attentive and friendly. Abina was always there for us helping us out with all we needed for our room. Yasser made the mistake of delicious bread for breakfast. On our first morning we arrived early of the ferry crossing and wandered through the little lane ways assisted by the locals … it was so heartwarming and then we met Yasser and he made us feel instantly at home . The smell of the freshly baked bread was just so so nice . He made us feel instantly at right at home . Later that evening we met Puck again so welcoming and friendly. Loved our stay in a lovely comfortable cheery room looking out onto a lovely tropical garden..

The host very helpful for arranging everything for me. Makes my trip much more enjoyable. And every guest is quite nice people as well. Stay in peaceful and quiet island is the best choice in Aswan in my opinion. The view on top roof is so beautiful, can see all Nubian village and Nile, not far from airport and other tourist spots .

Everything. Mahmoud was a great host and made all he could to arrange everything 🙏 This place provides laundry services, transfers, great tours and so on. Even hair cuts, henna tattoos if you need. Actually they try to provide everything you wish. Our room 203 (without balcony) was very comfortable. Also a big thanks to Bibo and also to Sido ✌️

The soft blue and white colours that greet you as you walk down the steps of the guest house to the open terrace are truly refreshing. Elephantine Island offers the perfect sanctuary after a long day of travel. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Mostafa, a thoughtful and attentive host. He made sure I was settled and comfortable. He even offered an early morning motorboat, breakfast, and transport for my trip to Abu Simbel. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and filled with natural light, offering a breathtaking view of the Nile with the desert stretching out in the distance. The tranquility of both the island and the guest house was so soothing that I decided to extend my stay for a few more nights, a request which Mostafa kindly accommodated. Thank you, Mostafa!

An amazing hotel next to the river. The room was clean and tidy. We had the number 1 room for 3 people . It was a big room with 3 windows with an amazing view (the front rooms have also a small balcony to sit outside) The breakfast was nice and the owner also suggested if one day had to leave early to prepare our breakfast for take away.

The comunication, the room itself its pretty good and good looking, it have everything to be comfortable. The owner helped me to arrange transportation and tours to Abu simbel, Asuan and Luxor in good cars and with good drivers, all polite and puntual. Very recommended place.

This is a best place to stay in Aswan, for a cheap price you get nice and clean room, the host is very kind and helped us a lot, definitely the best deal I’ve made in Egypt and you even get a good breakfast. Don’t be afraid of the neighbourhood after the first sight, people from Aswan are nice and welcoming, just beware of the store on the corner, the owner’s brother tried to rob us.

People here are friendly and David will help you with whatever you need including tours for the best price. Breakfast and room/bed are very simple but you definitely cannot complain for the price. It is as clean as it can be, and the location is great, easy to get to the city centre and good food options for the best price nearby.

This hotel is a lovely place to stay. Its location on elephantine island is away from the hustle and bustle of Aswan yet just 2 minutes by river boat transfer accord to the island. The hotel has lovely and bright rooms directly overlooking the Nile. The manager and his team were brilliant. They helped us in all our travel plans. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely. The powerful shower was the best so far in our trip. I would definitely stay here again.

Location very nice. The room with a beautiful view from the balcony. Lovely meal cooked and served on the roof. A very special thanks to the host, Mohamed who helped me to buy a new car part which was stollen from my rented car. And free transfer from the island and back. If you want a truly nubian experience this is the place to stay.

The location is amazing. If you want a quiet place to stay with really friendly people then this is the place. It’s easy to meet other traveler. From the roof to you have amazing view to the Nil. Food served was delicious. I felt like home. My room was cozy and very quiet, so I was seeping very well. Everyone on the island is very friendly and just want to talk to you. Beautiful views from the island on every side.

The owner was so helpful and spent a long time telling us about the place , he could not of done more to make are stay there any better, only perhaps getting softer mattress but some people may find them OK just a bit hard for me. The location is excellent 2 minutes from the ferry and a shop for food and drinks just around the corner ...I would fully recommend this place to stay... Rob from Australia

Best place to stay in Aswan/Nubian village, right on the Nile shore, best food for lunch and dinner we had in egypt, breakfast was also good. Tours were all good and reasonably price, well organised. The room was beautifully decorated in nubian style, clean, great beds, enaugh space. Very pleasant stay, we would gladly go back here any time.

Probably the best location in Aswan. Private island away from noise and fumes, most rooms with river view, good, frequent, free ferry service. Generally well maintained. Good and varied breakfast, good value evening buffet varied daily, reasonable bar meals. Staff polite and helpful.

Fantastic place to stay in Aswaan. I'm a solo traveller from NZ and this was such a great stay. The place is clean and comfortable, beautiful location. Rooms are eallt nice and the Ac iss strong. Food is amazing and big portions and the staff are just the best, so friendly and ready to help. Don't stay in the city stay out here for a fantastic Nubian experience.
