The hotel was very welcoming, with a closed parking garage, nice outside terrace and large room. The garage was a great place to keep our motorcycles while there, and the hotel allowed me to conduct an engine service on their grounds. They even helped me to dispose of the used engine oil. We left some tools (a large wrench with to remove the rear-wheel of KTM 790 nuts) for the next traveller to benefit from (we had to buy one, and did not have the space to bring it along). The hotel staff does not speak English very well, but they are very kind, and try their best to help any way they can. The location is great, with a short walk to the center of the city passing by the UNESCO heritage site. Breakfast was above expectation. All in all, very happy with this stay.

Bogolyvar Fogado is a very unique hotel in the world. It is located on top of a hill with spectaclar views. The hotel has been designed with love, imagination and care. The rooms and the entire hotel is decorated with traditional embroideries, beautiful poterry and antique photographs of Pecs. The hotel has a lovely dining room with a wide variety of delicious and home-made delicacies, including homemade cheese and marmalades. There is also a very large seperate restaurant with beautiful architectural designs. I arrived on New Yearr´s Eve and almost everything was closed but the owner´s son gave me a delicious complimentary salad. They were also very nice in upgrading my room from a single to a double room. The new room was very spacious, had a bathtub and also had beautiful emboideries on the wall. It was like staying in a museum and helped me learn and appreciate how talented and artistic is Hungarian culture. There is a bus at the bottom of the hill that takes you into town. However, the walk is lovely and it is next to a beautiful historical park. The owner´s mother was very sweet and kind to me and also recommended the porcelain museumss which were the best museums I visited. I enjoyed my stay in Pecs and highly recommend both the hotel and the city to anyone wanting to visit Hungary. The only recommendation I make to the hotel is as a vegetarian, I would have eaten more regularly at their restaurant had there been some more salad or vegetable dishes. Other than that, I think Pension Bogolyvar Fogado is an outstanding place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the H30 apartment. The room was spacious, warm and clean. We had plenty of room for our luggage. The bathroom is also quite big which is amazing. The bed is comfy, we had good night’s rest. There was also a little balcony which we did not use as it was super cold, but it is good to have the option. The communal kitchen is well equipped, it was clean and we had no trouble using it. The location is good, about 15min by foot to the city center, but it is a nice walk.

Ground floor location, relatively easy to access (after you find it the very first time). Bedrooms are small but with good beds and excellent roller shutters - perfection! Away from city center but that is what we were looking for, away from the main street. Very good for a family with up to two children.

The room was big and comfortable. There were dishes and a microwave in the kitchen. There was even a washing machine if needed in the room. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was surprisingly good. The location is excellent. Walking distance to the city centre and also the train station. Air conditioned rooms. Complete value for money. Will definitely recommend it.

Our first impression of the hotel especially from the outside was not good because it appears old and weary. We were well received and showed to our room which was clean and tidy. The room is equipped with a fridge, kettle and coffee/tea, air conditioner, safe and hairdryer. The breakfast was good with friendly staff although the dining room is small and very crowded. Free parking maybe a problem but luckily we didn’t have any. Hotel is situated in an excellent location and walking distance from downtown.

I really liked the location and the staff. The hotel is located almost in the city center-few minutes from the main square. Also, there is a parking just in the front of the entrace you need to pay.

This wasn't our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last. We keep coming back to this amazing little hotel for so many reasons. Amazing little hotel, super nice people, delicious and rich breakfast, spacious but cosy room, super comfy bed. The location is perfect, quiet street, but easily accessible. The city center and the sights of Pécs are just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

I love the hospitality of the staff as well as the location of the hotel. It is very tidy and cosy. The rooms are nicely equipped and if you fancy for a dinner in your hotel room there is a small kitchen which can cover all necessary needs. Great place to stay! Even though the kitchen is fairly equipped in the rooms don't forget to bring some dishwasher liquid with you ;)

Good location, close to the city center. Free parking in the next street, limited number of parking lots. Parking in front of the hotel is not free. No view from our room and for that reason, very quiet in the morning. Good breakfast with great coffee. Interesting hotel design, but a bit dark in the hotel. We did not use the kitchen.

Everything was great and as advertised. Breakfast was lovely with a lot ıf choices, exceeded our expectations. Possible a la carte restaurant for lunch or dinner which was a life saver for Easter where many places were closed. Room was very spacious and location easily reachable downtown. Spa area was small but very well maintained. Spent a lovely evening there. All in all great hotel, great service and amenities for a reasonable price. Do not hesitate
