The River Loom is a fantastic place beautifully set in nature, immediately on a river bank and a stone throw away from the beach. The room was nicely decorated and had everything needed for a short stay. We particularly loved the garden and the terrace with all its beautiful plants! The host and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! We came as guests and left as friends :-). Absolutely recommendable without reservations!

A Warm and Memorable Stay at Banyan Tree, Kovalam Our stay at Banyan Tree in Kovalam with my son was truly unforgettable, filled with warmth and comfort from the very first moment. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the beach, and you wake up to the soothing sound of the ocean. Danya, the hostess, and her wonderful team made us feel right at home. When we arrived late in the evening, Jibin at the reception made sure we didn’t go to bed hungry—he brought us juice and cookies, which was so thoughtful! Our room was bright, clean, and cozy, with a balcony offering a beautiful sea view—ideal for relaxation. The hotel also has a vegetarian café with delicious food. We were invited to spend a few hours at the pool of the main Banyan Tree resort, just a 20-minute walk away. Sarath, the manager there, welcomed us warmly, and our time by the pool flew by in a blink! On the day of our departure, we were kindly allowed to stay a bit longer since our flight was in the evening—this was a huge help. Thanks to Danya, Jibin, Sarath, Jubilee syngkli and the entire staff, our vacation became even more special. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality. We will definitely return! Thank you for your care and kindness!

Exceptionally clean,everything was in working order-lights,air conditioning, locks ,shower and a toilet.The room is spacious,bed is big and comfortable. There is also a fridge and a wardrobe.Balcony is big with table and chairs and there is also a drying rack. Breakfast is basic,included in the price. Everything was really as described. The manager and the staff are friendly and helpful. The property is a short walk from the beach and in the quiet area . I extended my stay as it was so comfortable.

Beautiful location, good facilities, clean as you would expect from Leela, they have great facilities and are well looked after. The property needs air-conditioning in common areas. This is big a let down. Mosquito control is essential! Staff members - Hema, Anila, Jobi, Jamshed, Shraddha, Ajin need a special mention as they go out of their way to make things work. We would definitely visit again! Thank you for a pleasant experience overall.
