A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. It only opened in March but it was very homely and comfortable. Our bedroom was enormous with stunning views of the sea. The pool was perfect and because it is a relatively small hotel, 11 rooms and a penthouse, there wasn’t a problem getting a sun bed regardless of time of day. No towels on sunbeds at sunrise here. Breakfast was good, great juice, fresh fruit and breads to accompany the cooked dishes. I would definitely recommend this hotel for quality and position as there were so many restaurants close by. And loved Kiki the hotel dog who was so sweet.

A fantastic stay in a serene and nature-filled setting! The property has two well-designed suites with a common pool, creating a perfect balance of privacy and relaxation. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made the experience truly refreshing. The food was outstanding, and the surprise cake arrangement added a memorable touch. The friendly helpful staff, pristine gardens and clean comfortable villa made our stay a time to remember. Meals are available until 5pm each day (8pm on Wednesdays) and are delicious. Nothing was ever an issue for the manager Karin, who could organise meals, snacks by the pool, advice on local shops and even have my suit case repaired by the villa’s maintenance man. The team spoke great English and were happy to talk with you and make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

Our stay at this hotel was simply magical! The hotel is nestled right next to a breathtakingly beautiful and serene lake, offering peaceful views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the gentle sound of nature and the shimmering water was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—freshly baked pastries, a variety of tropical fruits, rich and aromatic coffee, and a selection of delicious local specialties. Every morning felt like a luxurious feast, setting the perfect tone for the day. One of the best parts of this hotel was its location. A short, pleasant walk led us straight to the ocean’s pristine beach. The golden sand was incredibly soft and clean, and the crystal-clear water made it an ideal spot for relaxation and swimming. The combination of the peaceful lake and the stunning ocean beach made this a dream destination.

Cozy Sea View Inn in Hikkaduwa offers an excellent ambiance with a convenient location, placing it at the center of all the essential spots. Situated right on the beachfront, it's perfect for soaking in the sea breeze. Traveling as a group of five girls, safety was a priority, and we felt completely secure here. The presence of a gym on-site was a plus, although it tended to be busy. Overall, a great place to stay with a vibrant atmosphere.

Very nice hotel right beside the beach with an onsite restaurant. The staff were very nice and helpful and overall it is a perfect place to stay right at the beach. Also the hotel is located in more quiet area of Hikkaduwa but many shops and restaurants are very close.

Great location and value for money! The beach is extremely clean in front of the Villa and the Villa itself is quite beautiful. Had a wonderful time staying here. Nirasha, the property owner, helped us with transport from the airport and was a lovely host! The property is 10 mins from Hikkaduwa centre. Tuk tuks are easily available from the main road to the city centre.

Nice, clean and affordable place to stay. The pool was refreshing and clean. They have Thambili cafe on the other side of the street (less than 5 min walk) where we bought breakfast every morning. Easy and quick walk to the beach - although you have to cross the busy street before you get there. Good location to do excursions from.

One of the best places I've stayed at in Sri Laka. Even better than the photos suggest. Wonderfully spacious room with comfy bed, fridge and air con. The host is a lovely person and interesting to talk to about Buddhism, local politics, the tsunami and his cinnamon farm over a tasty breakfast that can be prepared on request. Away from the main buzy drag and set in beautifully maintained gardens, but also super close to the beach and coral sanctuary. The perfect place to stay in Hikkaduwa. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay. The room I had was clean and the bed was comfy, I especially liked that there was AC as well as a fan, and a fridge to keep my water in. I was working while here and the Wi-Fi was good and I had a desk to work from. The beach is literally across the road and everything you need is in walking distance. The best thing about the stay though has to be Chandine the host, she is the most lovely lady. Really friendly and generous and she made it feel like I was staying with family.

Great location directly on the beach with private garden, beach and sunbeds. The hotel is located about 1 km from the city center what makes your stay even better. The rooms are with sea view. The staff very friendly. We were unexpectedly few hours before our scheduled check in and could still promptly get the room. Also because our flight back was late we could use the garden the whole day after check out and get the shower before leaving Hikkaduwa. The hotel has also own restaurant wirh very good sri lankan food, seefood, coctails.

A chic hotel with probably the best location. There are a lot of animals on the territory parrots, chipmunks and turtles. A great quiet backwater where you can swim even in the rain. The hotel has good delicious food, clean large very beautiful territory. Excellent rooms with everything you need and a magnificent view.

A truly unique villa, one in a million. Photos don't lie; everything matches perfectly. Immaculately clean bathrooms, incredibly spacious - ideal for families.
