The location is amazing. Its right at the beach. This hotel is run by family and the owner personally takes good care of the guests. The best part was even if the owner's wife was in hopsital, he came all the way just to ensure that we have a smooth checkin. Thanks a lot for the gesture Harshit. The breakfast was amazing and was cooked by owner's family so you get to taste the home food. I would definately come back to this place if i visit next. Thanks Harshit for all the help. It was amazing stay. Good luck

I had a wonderful stay at Sea Turtles Bungalow in Iduruwa. The property has a beautiful colonial-style charm with very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making the stay very comfortable. They also have a really good spa which was very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Iduruwa Beach. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway

The tranquility and the birdlife of the location is excellent with the he view over the jungle and gardens and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The attention to detail in and outside of the apartments is excellent. The rooftop terrace and each apartments' terrace offer another outside sitting experience. Ankie, the owner and her staff member Maheel are perfect hosts, helpful and caring, and not forgetting Nibs, the older of the 2 beautiful dogs, and Benson the young happy pooch! Riding into the inland region instantly brings out the old and traditional Sri Lanka life and the beautiful fauna and flora. Serpent eagles, land monitors, water monitors, buffalo, monkeys et al are passed pass by amongst the happy greetings with wonderful smiles from the locals. Quite a few unique temples and stupas including a monastery are close by. Along the road to the beach is the old and quaint Induruwa train station which adds to the appeal, catch the local commuter train and experience Sri Lanka life. Close by to the quite empty beach, deserted in the early mornings, provides an excellent walk and bathing at the south end of the beach is safe and comfortable. Many small and large restaurants have all manner of food along both the stretch of the beach and roadside. Facility to cook our own food, and the fridge on the rooftop terrace was a great bonus to us. The local bread and roti vendors pass by early morning and their roast paan amongst other breads is available and tasty. Roomy and comfortable apartment with air con, fan, kettle and fridge, mosquito net on the bed and also plug in mosquito repellers. All in all a wonderful 2 week stay.

Amazing stay for our last day in Sri Lanka! The neighbourhood and garden are quiet and peaceful, but still walking distance from a beautiful beach, which is not busy. Comfy bed, hot shower, plentyful and very tasty breakfast. The hosts are so kind; they are really involved in making sure that you have a great stay. I travel to Sri Lanka very often because it is my favourite destination, and this is my first visit to Villa Sidu. For me without doubt one of the best places that I have ever stayed in Sri Lanka. In Villa Sidu you are guaranteed the best Sri Lankan hospitality. It is owned and run by Himali, her husband Janaka, and also supported by daughter and son. It is a family orientated place to relax and enjoy. This family go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoy. Always willing to help and guide you to enjoy the surroundings. This accommodation is in Induruwa, and it is a peaceful village between the busy tourist hotspots Bentota and Hikkaduwa. Beautiful spacious, clean rooms with a balcony if you are on a top floor. There are AC rooms and well as non AC. Breakfast is also included, it is one of the finest breakfast to enjoy. If you like why not speak to Himali or Janaka and enjoy Sri Lanka’s tasty rice and curry. Don’t take my word, just try it. If you are looking for the Indian Ocean, look not far, it is just meters away from Villa Sidu. We like Villa Sidu so much, after an exhausting tour round Sri Lanka, we came back to Villa Sidu to enjoy and relax. We take this opportunity to thank Himali, Janaka and family for making our holiday comfortable than we expected. In our opinion Villa Sidu is a hidden Gem in Sri Lanka. Villa Sidu is not expensive at all.
