The service was exceptional - from a relaxed glass of champagne on arrival to help putting chains on our car tyres on departure. Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated with a stunning view of the mountains and Engelberg. We ate at the Thai restaurant which offers outstanding food and at the European restaurant which has a small but well cooked menu. Breakfast was plentiful with options for high end warm dishes. The infinity pool was amazing with various jets and a separate warmer jacuzzi. The outdoor hot tub and sauna in a cable car cabin felt especially luxurious, surrounded by snow and Christmas lights. The indoor spa (2 saunas, steam room and special showers) is quite small, but during our stay we had it mostly to ourselves. For a romantic and relaxing short stay, it was perfect and we plan to come again!

This place is exceptional and so charming, we loved our cozy room with a balcony facing the town! Super friendly and helpful staff (shoutout to Alexander), restaurant was expensive but worth it! We only ate one dinner here and reservations are a good idea. Ski rental across the street and bus stop a block away or 2 blocks to train station. Close to everything! Dining room/Kitchen had everything you need should you want to cook. Play area for the kids and teens, adult lounge as well! This place felt like a gorgeous, cozy, family home!

Our rustic-style 3-star hotel with 12 rooms enjoys an idyllic, sunny and quiet location on the edge of the village, offering superb panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Make use of our secure and covered parking and keep in contact with friends and family via the free internet access. The centre of the village is reachable within a pleasant 15-minute walk and in winter the ski bus brings you to the train and cable car station for free. The bus station is reachable on foot in 4 minutes. In winter, please take bus stop Heimat, in summer please take bus stop Brunni. Those bus stops also are the correct ones coming from the train station. Nice, cozy, quiet little place. Could tell the staff was concerned about our well-being.
