This is an excellent property, minutes away from the town center but what sets it apart is the attention to detail and great service We stayed in the cabana, a two-storied cottage next to the main building. It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. The guest house features family rooms. It was our best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far! The room and bathroom were clean, the water warm, the view from the balcony spectacular. The bed was big and comfy as well. The host was very kind and hospitable, he helped us with renting the scooter, prepared very tasty breakfasts with fresh fruits and even checked on us after we left for the further travelling :) the contact was unproblematic, right after we arrived we were given the numbers (phone and WhatsApp) that we can contact anytime we need something.

His suggestions to places we should check out and trek to were spot on. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and if you're planning on a trek you can request for an early breakfast. We highly recommend this place. We had a large room and the bathroom was outside the room but It was absolutely fine and comfortable. Thanks again Rajith and your family for your hospitality.

The property is on the Main Badulla road, but a bit away from town, about 5mins by car, which was okay for us as it helped us wind down by sunset, and the property became quite cozy with no external sounds or bright lights.

After moving from hotel to hotel, it felt so nice to come into a warm and comfortable home with a cozy bed. And I liked that dinner and breakfast takes place at a big family table with other guests, once again it felt cozy. But above all, I have to give credit to the incredible service we received. I arrived with a very bad cold, slight fever, etc. Soon after we arrived and he saw I was sick, Madhavan came to our room with a steaming bowl with ginger and lime leaves and some ayurvedic medicine to help with my congestion. He repeated the same action twice more during our stay, and was so so kind, bringing me tea constantly, asking how I was, etc. All the employees at the hotel were above and beyond with their service and attention, and Madhavan's kindness with me will be remembered long after our trip. Oh - and they have a gorgeous swing in the garden where you can lounge about and read on. If you're tired of staying in impersonal hostals and are looking for a cozy stay in a big comfortable house, look no further :)
