We were bought special drinks and homemade pastries in the afternoon at no charge and we felt we were having a 5 star service. Our room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed our breakfast out on the patio, the fruit salad was the best we had in 5 weeks in Sri Lanka. I can't thank Susee enough for making our stay so special.

The beach is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and there are a few nice restaurants around. The beach is beautiful and calm. Semila arranged a very nice trip around Sri lanka for me with a driver that accompanied me. It was really good.

I had a wonderful stay here. My room was big and comfortable and my balcony was overlooking Jaya's awesome garden and the jungle. Jaya was a wonderful host who showed me the shortcut to the beach, took my luggage to the train station and was always there to help. Breakfast was big and delicious. It was also no problem to get hot water or a plate and cutlery. Drinking water was always available. The location is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, the town centre.
