He is a perfect host with a great smile and with great service which he is always willing to go out of the way. A great guy and a perfect example of how great customer service goes a long way. He knows all the good spots for food and will even help you with shopping. The rooms has eveything you need and the beach is not more than 100 meters away. Aweome place for couples and solo travelers. I would recomend his place as a go to place to understand Sri Lankan Hospitality. I wish him all the very best.

The room was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you'd expect.Overall, a fantastic experience! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and personal experience.

Amazing feeling right on the coastline, therapeutic. The room is quite spacious and the bed is very large and comfortable. They have a small store on site that sells snacks and drinks for low prices. You can also order breakfast, lunch, and dinner from them, very authentic, fresh, and affordable. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Cannot say enough good things about the hosts. Some of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. Extremely generous family. It was a very joyful and peaceful stay, at a very affordable price.

This has to be one of my best stays in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was phenomenal, definitely the best I’ve had in my x3 week stay in Sri Lanka. Ashika, the young gentleman that runs this Guesthouse and his friend Charindu has got to be the friendliest, kindest people I’ve met during my time here, they are extremely professional, honest and speak very good English. The guesthouse is exceptionally clean, in walking distance to the beach, and the swimming pool is heaven on earth, the room was perfect with a beautiful balcony and views of surrounding area, everything was clean. As a solo traveller I felt comfortable and safe here immediately. Ashika, cooks the most delicious food ever and is always ready to help with all your enquiries. I came from a not so clean place and he did everything to help me, even getting Aloe Vera plants from the garden for my skin. I can highly recommend this guesthouse, it’s simply one of the best. I ended up saying x3 extra night here. Thank you for everything, I truly appreciated everything you did for me.

At the guest house, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The location was super! Everything at a hand. I didn't ask for breakfast or any meal, we arrenged that ourselves.

Our stay at The Beach Gate Villa was truly unforgettable. Sarath is the kindest host we met on our journey, and he made us feel like part of his own family. The breakfasts were simply the best of our entire trip, and the rooms were the cleanest and most well-equipped we had in Sri Lanka. We especially appreciated the large, comfortable beds, as not all double beds on the island are spacious enough for two. The villa itself has a beautiful terrace and garden, where we enjoyed watching birds and squirrels, and the peaceful location is just a few minutes’ walk from a quiet, empty beach. There are also plenty of activities nearby, such as a river safari in Bentota, an Indian restaurant, and a Buddhist shrine. We loved it so much that we extended our stay to four nights and were genuinely sad to leave.
