Very nice new riad (opened in August 2024) with a nice courtyard and terrace and very friendly owners. It is in the middle of the Medina. I had an early flight and had to leave at 5 am and I was accompanied by the owner to find the right taxi and get on the road.

Our room was spacious with a sitting area and the bed above the bathroom. We had direct access to the sunroof. Breakfast was tasty, local, varied, and always with something extra. The riad has a hammam and dining options, but we did not try these.

The house has very pretty architecture in the hall and the rooms itself. The room is very clean and nicely furnished. The owner and staff are very welcoming and nice and the breakfast was very good :) The location is close to the medina and easy to reach by foot and by car.

They serve good breakfast from Mounia cafe downstairs.

Right in the centre of Rabat, Dar Shaeir has city views from the terrace. It is set less than 1 km from Plage de Rabat and offers luggage storage space. The rooms are equipped with a patio with inner courtyard views. It was a great place to stay. Yes, there was not a proper desk in my room but it is not a business hotel so that is fine. I did conduct a very nice meeting on the rooftop terrace though
