With an establishment that clearly prioritizes opulence and elegance, my experience was a blend of highs and minor setbacks. From the outset, the property's design and facilities truly resonate with grandeur. My room was nothing short of a sanctuary – exceptionally clean, abundantly comfortable with a bathroom setup that's unparalleled in its appeal. However, a couple of issues marred my otherwise delightful stay. The first was the overpowering sound from a wedding party. Despite being on the third floor, the music was so loud it impeded my sleep. Though the staff was understanding and promptly moved me to the fifth floor, it was an inconvenience that shouldn't have occurred in the first place at such a prestigious hotel. The second matter of concern was the lingering smell of cigarette smoke in both rooms. For those sensitive to or disliking the scent of smoke, this can be rather off-putting. On the gastronomic front, both dinner and breakfast were astounding. The buffet is diverse and lavish, making every meal an exciting culinary journey. However, a small suggestion for the management would be to elevate the coffee experience at breakfast by opting for quality coffee beans and fresh milk. In conclusion, the Narcissus Riyadh Hotel & Spa certainly ranks high on the list of luxury accommodations. The attentive and courteous staff is its crown jewel. While my feedback points out areas of potential improvement, it's worth noting that the overall experience was top-notch. He was extremely cooperative and friendly and did the check-in process very quickly. Note that if you want to do a late/off hr check-in, do send them a message and they will keep a note of it and will also confirm the approval of your request before you travel. The bell boy, Badshah, was also very helpful and informative, gave us tips on local shopping spots (got good deals!) and restaurants specific to our taste. We came basically on the trail of Lawrence of Arabia, we were lucky to stay at Retaj Hotel close to the harbor and old quarter that we could easily walk to it as much as we wanted. However it was mid June during Eid ul Adha, shops and visitors attractions were closed, the city was quiet, and the heat and humidity kept us indoors most of our three day visit. Still it was fascinating to be in the city at this time, we didn't see much of Yanbu to make a judgement but we were grateful to make it, as it was our jump off point onwards to Umluj as well. The Yanbu Airport, by the way, was very impressive, and I love the long avenue of fire trees out to the highway. Neat and green landscaping made a great impression for us first time visitors. A two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is located in a nice new neighbourhood close to Al Rashid Mega Mall. The apartment had its own designated parking and was around 10 - 15 minutes drive to Masjid e Nabwi by car. The owner a was a polite gentlemen who took us through the apartment before handing over the keys to us. The name is Medina tl Nabi meaning city of Prophet. Centre stage is Prophet's mosque. Best place in whole of the world. Romansia is a very good place to eat though there are others equally good. This a very busy place so better to visit in times when there are no holidays to dodge the congestion of people. Very easy to move about. The city is amazing, and modern. I thought that there would be more traffic, but my rides were smooth. I went in the summer it was kinda hot in the noon and the afternoon, but the weather at night hit in the right spot. There are services everywhere, and people there are open-minded.
