Olivia's Hill Resort is located south of Durres which is really great if you want to stay in a more relaxed place. We stayed for 2 nights and the place was very clean and comforfable. This place also has alot of sun loungers and outdoor pool to fill all your sunbathing needs. Free breakfast was included in the price and we were served on the table with delicious food. This place also has a restaurants if you wish to dine in the hotel. We randomly also stubled on live audition which was great addition to our stay. Hotel had enough parking spots. If you want to go to the beach you have to walk back a little and go to an overpass. It takes around 10 mins to arrive on the beach. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants which 2 I'd like to highlight (Sapore di Mare and Shkodra). All in all we were very happy with our stay!

Brand new hotel, close to the airport. Great staff who are helpful - and run you to and from the airport as needed. Large and well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, and the restaurant served great food. Even the included breakfast was a freshly cooked omelette and a decent coffee.

Everything is new, just opened. The family running it are kind, and know the area. The father even offered to drive me to the airport since I was having a difficult time finding a taxi to drive me so early in the morning. The room was very comfortable and clean. If you need anything just ask!

New-Huge-Pool… and deck… Hotel is re-done inside-out… All rooms are different… this boutique Hotel has so much character… everywhere is so clean, safe, quite… with low voice pleasant music… Free armchairs for the beach and pool… wonderful-free breakfast, with endless variety of products, served under the trees, by the pool or inside, in elegant tables with white-crisp table cloths… Amazing food, either sophisticated Italian cuisine, or/and traditional-wonderful Albanian plates… Beautiful Cocktails… wines & beers, espresso bar… like the Best… homemade breads, homemade ice creams & desserts… that taste “out of this world”…! This was my second time to stay at the hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel, very well maintained and incredible views from the balconies of every room. It’s an absolute must to stay for at least one night to visit the castle and shop the bazaar. The people are incredibly warm and helpful. I’m sure I’ll be back for my third time soon. My family and I were here from June 6 to 8, 2025. The hotel is excellent, directly on the beach, the beach is great, the sun loungers on the beach are free, the entire hotel, the rooms, the restaurant and the beach are covered with excellent wifi, the breakfast was great, a large selection of products, the staff was very pleasant and the hotel was very clean.

Everyone in the staff of the hotel was super nice. We were very well welcomed when we first checked in. It was the same thing during the whole stay, no matter if it was a new person we encountered at the reception or in the hotel, everyone was friendly and was going above and beyond for us. I was a solo traveler and first time to Albania. I was unfamiliar with everything around me. The hotel welcomed me and spoke English very well. The staff gave me recommendations for where to go and use of the beach amenities. Right on the water and had a great rooftop bar and swimming pool.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history. plenty of shops, people were helpful, plenty of small bars most selling food at very reasonable prices. A walk along the beach is recommended where there are many restaurants with lots of variety. if travelling i would recommend taking a bus as taxis are rather expensive i.e. a bus from the airport will cost 7 euro whilst a taxi will cost around 37 euro.

The airport is small, clean, and has a nice modern facade. Check-in was straightforward, and the building itself looks pleasant. During departure it was extremely crowded and chaotic, with no free seating and little space to move around. My flight was delayed, which made the wait even less comfortable. Nice small airport in design, but easily overcrowded and uncomfortable during busy hours.

Krujë is a charming historic town with narrow streets, an old bazaar, and plenty of traditional Albanian restaurants. The Castle Museum and Ethnographic Museum are must-visits, there’s so much history to discover. Rain or shine, it’s worth exploring, and on clear days, head up to the shrine on the hills for a stunning view over the entire Krujë valley.

The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

Great location, very nice and clean apartment, had everything that we needed inside, AC, WIFI, cable TV to watch the Euro cup. The host was great, responded within minutes and helped us with everything that we needed. There are lots of restaurants around the area. In the afternoon my 5 year old liked to go at the playground at the beach. There were also some other toys like bouncy castle, a train that offers train rides for $3/ride and some other stuff. Would recommend this apartment. It is our second year that we come back to the same one.

When we visited the busy season had finished so a lot of the restaurants were closed. I think the resort would be very lively in the main season. Would recommend visiting before the middle of September

This is perfect for its purpose!

This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

Kruje is charming and small.

Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.
