This hotel is just the best in Albania for me ! Is one of the most professional with all accommodation and very beautiful design. The bed is so comfortable , the pillows. The balcony has a good view. But the best part is the hotel manager with his recommandations and advice. Ervin is the best. Not far from the beach the city and also 20 minutes to Saranda. In a quiet place to be honest stay here you’ll not regret

One of the nicest hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Everything was perfect, hotel is new, modern, cosy and clean. Great location, close to the beach and walking distance to the centre. Beautiful views and very friendly and accommodating staff. Came to Ksamil to celebrate my birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. 10/10, would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Ksamil. Will definitely be coming back soon for sure. Thanks again!!

Lans hotel is perched on a hill with breathtaking views of the sea. The location was perfect offering a peaceful escape while still being close to the beautiful beaches. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. My room was clean spacious and had a stunning view of the sunset every evening. The hotel also had a fantastic breakfast buffet with a wide variety of delicious foods especially albanian specialties and beside that they can make you whatever you wish for. I had a truly memorable time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway in Ksamil.

We enjoyed staying in Sunlight hotel. It is new and everything was super clean and nice. We really enjoyed some time spend next to the pool, it was very quite. Stuff is great and very welcoming. Everyday we got new towels and clean sheets. Parking is free. Hope that we will come back next year :)

Our stay at the hotel was more than wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious, and the manager greeted us with a smile every day. The atmosphere was great. The hotel was clean, very nice, and of a high standard. The rooms were cleaned daily by equally friendly housekeeping ladies. The hotel restaurant was also excellent, and special praise goes to the best waiter – funny, very kind, and with a fantastic approach to children ❤️ It was one of the best restaurants in Ksamil – and we visited quite a few. Nowhere else were we welcomed so warmly.

An amazing stay!! Host was exceptional, she went above and beyond for us. Very welcoming, kind and helpful. Free breakfast at the restaurant by the beach was yummy and convenient. Location was very accessible to beach front and surrounds. You were made to feel part of the family. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Bedroom was spacious and clean and very affordable. Clean towels and bathroom every morning.

The gym is great. All necessary machine and weights. (But no yoga mat but a towel works!). Very nice size and clean. Good equipment from techno gym, some old version but some better than the new ones. Nice coffee at breakfast ! Restaurant is really excellent. We tried different one but the one at the hotel is great! I recommend : the seabass carpaccio !

We stayed in November so we were totally aware it was out of...

We stayed in November so we were totally aware it was out of season and there would be limited options. We enjoyed the quiet streets and there was still a small selection of restaurants open. We also went swimming, the water was cool but still enjoyable. For us Ksamil was perfect in November but I would caution that you must be prepared for a very relaxing and quiet experience.

Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of...

Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.
