This 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of the Tannhof has wonderful views towards the lake and the village. It was just perfect for our family of four, with ample space for sleeping, cooking, eating and relaxing. The kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed the big dining table for family meals and playing cards in the evening. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of wardrobe space, and it was great having two bathrooms and two toilets. The best thing about the Tannhof was its location, just a few minutes walk to the lake shore, restaurants, swimming pool and other facilities. We swam in Fuschlsee every day, enjoying a range of beaches - public and private. The small, dog-friendly, public beach on the northern shore, was a beautiful, secluded spot, flanked by reeds, where the water was still inviting even on a cool summer day due to its sheltered position facing south. We also enjoyed the boat ride across to the Schloss and walked a short distance to the nearby Hofer natural Lido at the far end of the lake, where the views back along the full length of the lake towards the Schafberg and other mountain peaks made an astoundingly beautiful backdrop for swimming. The Fuschl Schwimmbad also allowed us to enjoy the Fuschlsee, providing a gravel beach and sunbathing meadow with lots of tree-shade, as well as a water slide into the lake and a small outdoor pool, which is pleasantly heated. Free access to the swimming pool and its beach came free with the accommodation, a much appreciated perk as much of the Fuschlsee shore is privately owned and inaccessible. We couldn't have wished for a better self-catering holiday apartment, and we would return without hesitation!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Landhotel Hochlackenhof, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Nestled in a very calm part of the landscape, this familly managed accommodation offers a serene and peaceful environment that is perfect for relaxation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. Every corner was spotless, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards of hygiene. The room was not only clean but also very comfortable, making it a perfect home away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding kitchen. The meals prepared here were exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. Whether it was breakfast, or dinner, the quality of the food was consistently high, and it truly added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Overall, the quality of accommodation at Landhotel Hochlackenhof is top-notch. The combination of a tranquil setting, immaculate rooms, and superb cuisine made my stay an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

The hotel was beautifully presented and our room very comfortable. The view from the lovely large balcony was stunning and the parasol an added bonus while sitting out. Just a short walk to the lake where we could swim. The staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful, offering advice and ideas about things to do and places to visit. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The hotel is a sister hotel to a much larger hotel next door which offers restaurants and activities we could join in with. There is a golf course as part of the sister hotel which has a wonderful cafe/restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious BBQ evening there with accompanying live music. The natural pool and delightful garden attached to our hotel, added to the relaxing and perfect atmosphere.

The location, the scenery, the food we loved it all!! Staff in the hotel is truly caring, very friendly and they really want to make sure you have a superb stay at See Rose. The room and facilities were spotless, there’s a little gym in the hotel too, that’s got enough equipment to have a good workout. Once you leave the hotel there’s plenty of activities to do nearby, if you like hiking or walking in general this is the perfect place for you. Public transport is pretty good , there’s 2 bus in most hours from the village to either towards Salzburg or Bad Ischl. I’m glad we spent 4 nights there and can’t wait to come back in summer time!

Staff was very nice to us, they helped with everything what we needed. We had so delicate diners. The room was cleaned and we had everyday cleaning service. We appreciate the large parking spot opposite of the hotel. Because of sleeping time of our young baby at the same time as dinner time the staff brought us the dinner in the evening to our room when we ask for it. It was really helpful atd we could enjoy our stay. Moreover this hotel has a terrace and you can enjoy your breakfast with beautiful lake view. For us 10/10.

The apartment is very very spacious, clean, and has a nice small kitchen for your basic needs. I also like the location very much. It's situated just a few minutes away from the lake and the walk there was always pleasant. But what I loved the most is the small fridge on the ground floor with beer, wine, and other beverages. You can take whatever you like anytime and you just need to put your payment in the small envelopes by the fridge 😊

The hotel is ideally located just a two-minute walk from the shores of Lake Fuschisee. It is situated in a quiet area and features a spacious parking lot, which tends to fill up around lunchtime. The food is incredibly delicious, with a menu that offers a wide variety of local dishes. Additionally, the breakfast is both tasty and satisfying.

The location was amazing. The hosts were very kind and friendly. We felt welcome at the pension. It was neat and clean. There were nice hiking trails and restaurants around.
