The friendly staff and the meals served were very nice. The beds where the comfiest I experienced in my last stays abroad. The room itself was very spacious and luxurious.

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Waldruhe and we will most likely come back when we visit the region. One feels immediately welcomed, all the staff is friendly and highly competent. They also fluent in different languages (aussi en français et italien) which makes it easy to exchange small talks. Our room was spacious, very clean, well- equipped with a balcony. The interior of the hotel is stylish and includes references of the past which we thought added a nice touch. The breakfast (buffet) is well presented with lots of specialities, home baked bread , butter from a local farm and so much more. The dinner was also exceptional. The wellness area is very spacious and counts two sauna, a steam bath, a infrared cabin, showers and plenty of space to relax. We could walk our dog in the surrounding forest but also around the lake 5 min away with the car.

Literally, the only thing about this fabulous hotel that I didn't like were the pillows. They were horrible, but everything else was exceptional.

The appartment VILLGRATEN was very nice and comfortable even for 4 persons. The equipement is new and stylish. Hofer supermarket just around the corner. Near to the italian border (good starting point also for trips to Dolomites - Tre Cime ca 50 min by car).
