We were welcomed very warmly with the persons at reception. they were very kinds, helpful and supportive. We got our room and just after entering the room we had this nice lake view behing the large windows and balcony. Kids have a nice private area which they really liked. They were given some nice gifts to draw and enjoy their spare time. Rooms have very large bathroom with bathtub, and no toilet in it which is very good. Toilet is separate but it is very small and there is no water for handwashing. You have to go to bathroom for hanfwashing. This is annoying. Restaurants: We had really nice dinners at our reserved table with an amazing view and decoration. The menu is always rich, salate buffet and cheese buffet is rich either. There is always something for everbody.The envronment is cosy and joyful. Foods are really amazing, delicious and all the persons are helpful and supportive since we do not have any alcohol and pork. They always use the top most quality products. Breakfast is also always very good. Their products, egg menu, cheese, other options, honey, butter all are amazin. They serve you the best products. You will have health and enough food. They have plenty of space for everybody and time for all either. They have nice pool area. We really enjoy it. Their infinity pool also was amazing with the area to rest around. I could not use Sauna area because it is nude area if I understand it correctly. Everywhere is very clean, tidy. The only annoying thing will be toilletes in terms of their size, and WiFi. As a conclusion, we had very nice experience here and definitely will be back later. I really would like to try in summer. An excellent and varied breakfast for which you need to set aside at least an hour with beautiful view to truly enjoy it, of course with the inevitable glass of cold champagne. Special praise to the managers in the restaurant: the great and experienced Darko (an example of what a restaurant manager should be) and the beautiful and perfectly professional Silvia. We caught the train from Pritswich to Portschach which was a very short journey. Their timetables at the station/collection points are so easy to understand. Portschach is a very picturesque place. The houses looked very clean adorned with flowers, very tidy streets. People are very friendly and the majority spoke English. The food was delicious especially the cakes. There was a park area which took you down to the lake. Also a play area for children. It's easy to drive from there to the many lakes in Carinthia, as well as to Klagenfurt, and the hosts provide an abundance of catalogs and brochures on what else there is to do in the region. But it's also an absolute pleasure to just stay home, sit outside by the pool and have a swim, or just relax indoors. We are self catering, so we did our own shopping, and supermarkets are within a few minutes drive. The kitchen is very well equipped so we could cook whatever we wanted to cook. Wonderful place in the Alps next to the Millstättersee with pass access to most of the lake facilities for free. Very child friendly place with a great garden/playground. The staff was great and the room was very comfortable.
The staff was great and the room was very comfortable. Fast wi-fi and slippers and robe in the room. Parking was free and just outside the hotel. There is no elevator if you are on upper floors. We visited in December, over New Years.
We visited in December, over New Years. Seeboden is well located to reach lots of hiking trials after only a few mins car drive (or bus). The ski area Goldeck is also only 15-20mins away by car. Shops, hotels and restaurants are all in walking distance. The view from the lake shore is beautiful and calming. We ate most of the time in our hotel, Moserhof, because we liked their food a lot. Once we ventured out to Postwirt and again we liked it so much that we went back another time. Great food for decent money. And the service really surprised us in both places. The whole area of Worthersee lake is worth visiting. It offers a lot of activities for all (tourism, cycling, swimming, water activities). Nice place but too small. Its for relax if you are kind of "stay at place" people. Nature great, but to much privat grounds around the lake. No walk way right next to the lake. Like it is f.e. at Bled lake. Its sit and enjoy the view, air and peace.Guest review byPrečko
