We wanted quiet place to stay on our journey to Italy with comfort beds and we were stunned. All pictures cant describe an actual feeling. Entire Villa is right on the beach with nice green grass with sunbeds touching lake Wortherzee. Room was superclean, with luxury beds and nice lake view. Breakfast was tasty with mix of various types of sweets and classic food like scrambled eggs or ham. Staff was friendly and even called us in advance for a key for our room as we were checking-in at late ours.

The Aquapura SPA Wellness Centre stretches a staggering 3600 square metres and is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious in this part of Europe. A rich offer includes an indoor and outdoor pool, a panoramic sauna in the garden and a relaxation space with water beds and a SPA cinema. Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden is absolutely one of the most prestigious hotels within the Falkensteiner portfolio.     Our stay at Lake Millstätter See was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel itself is a historic building, and you can even find a commemorative plaque that shares the history of the place, which added a special charm to our visit. The staff were extremely kind and attentive. We were traveling with a child, and they always went out of their way to meet the needs of the youngest member of our family. We were also pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade — a special thanks for that! The upgraded room was large and comfortable, with plenty of space for the three of us, a bathtub and shower, and a balcony offering breathtaking views of the lake. Breakfast was very diverse, with enough options to satisfy even the pickiest eater. But what really deserves special praise were the dinners at the hotel’s restaurant — every single one was absolutely outstanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It is worth every penny, and we would happily return.

    We have been here only for 1 day, but the location is superb, parking is easy. Also you can charge your electric car, the staff can help you with that. The Hotel is almost next to the town, you can access it by walk or even with a Tier or some scooter. Receptionist and the staff were very helpfull and kind. The room was nice, and clean, with proper equipment. The pool and sauna also great. Breakfast has a lot of options, and wide variety of stuff. Gluten intolerance people can have a nice breakfast too. Dinner is from the menu, not swedish style so it will take more time to serve you. If you want to visit the town or do some walking after dinner it is good to start dinner early.

    It was all positive, the old buildings, town squares, the old restaurants in the "downtown", the spectacular views and restaurants on the lake, walking around those areas around the lake, the weather and how nice everyone was. Plus we have great friends that live there and they are the best, they showed us around to great places and we had a great time.

    We caught the train from Pritswich to Portschach which was a very short journey. Their timetables at the station/collection points are so easy to understand. Portschach is a very picturesque place. The houses looked very clean adorned with flowers, very tidy streets. People are very friendly and the majority spoke English. The food was delicious especially the cakes. There was a park area which took you down to the lake. Also a play area for children. We caught the ferry over to Maria Worth and then later, travelled by ferry to Velden.

    It's easy to drive from there to the many lakes in Carinthia...

    It's easy to drive from there to the many lakes in Carinthia, as well as to Klagenfurt, and the hosts provide an abundance of catalogs and brochures on what else there is to do in the region. But it's also an absolute pleasure to just stay home, sit outside by the pool and have a swim, or just relax indoors. We are self catering, so we did our own shopping, and supermarkets are within a few minutes drive. The kitchen is very well equipped so we could cook whatever we wanted to cook. We can't wait to go back! Truly!

    Wonderful place in the Alps next to the Millstättersee with pass access to most of the lake facilities for free. Very child friendly place with a great garden/playground. Excellent breakfast and big spacious room immaculately clean. And most importantly: very kind and very relaxed hosts! Highly recommended.

    The staff was great and the room was very comfortable. Fast wi-fi and slippers and robe in the room. Parking was free and just outside the hotel. There is no elevator if you are on upper floors. Short walk to the abbey which is now an arts center and to the local beach although you could swim in the lake right from the hotel property.

    We visited in December, over New Years. Seeboden is well located to reach lots of hiking trials after only a few mins car drive (or bus). The ski area Goldeck is also only 15-20mins away by car. Shops, hotels and restaurants are all in walking distance. The view from the lake shore is beautiful and calming. We ate most of the time in our hotel, Moserhof, because we liked their food a lot. Once we ventured out to Postwirt and again we liked it so much that we went back another time. Great food for decent money. And the service really surprised us in both places. Super friendly people who anticipate your next wish before you have voiced it, but all without being intrusive.

    The whole area of Worthersee lake is worth visiting.

    The whole area of Worthersee lake is worth visiting. It offers a lot of activities for all (tourism, cycling, swimming, water activities). The lake is the warmest in Austria and its water is crystal clear and warm as the summer sea. All the nature around is beautiful and calm.

    Nice place but too small.

    Nice place but too small. Its for relax if you are kind of "stay at place" people. Nature great, but to much privat grounds around the lake. No walk way right next to the lake. Like it is f.e. at Bled lake. Its sit and enjoy the view, air and peace.
