We booked this accommodation on the day of our arrival, as we had to cancel our planned camping trip last minute due to bad weather. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings and the excellent location. The rooms and common areas are modern and tastefully furnished. The garden, located at the edge of the forest, offers a peaceful seating area by a small lake, a large grill, and a playground for children – perfect for relaxing. The overall atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated the rich breakfast buffet, which was constantly replenished. And if you’re lucky, you might even be treated to cheerful accordion tunes from the owner himself, making your morning even more delightful. We were extremely satisfied and would be happy to return in the future

Our stay was magical! We were in awe from the minute we arrived and we were sad to leave. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and so welcoming. The accommodation was perfect and so clean and well maintained. Our hosts invited us to go to a professional ice hockey game of the Zell em See team and it was a once in a lifetime experience. The hosts organised for the team to sign a jersey for my son who was overwhelmed with the hosts kindness and is having the signed jersey framed. The breakfasts were excellent and the dining room was beautifully set out/decorated; our hosts booked evening meals for us in Zell em See at places they recommended which resulted in us having incredible dining experiences. We loved everything about the Hotel, the facilities and our hosts from the minute we arrived until our hosts dropped us off at the train station to start our journey back to Australia. We had a magnificent time and we are planning to go back there. We highly recommend this Hotel with its amazing facilities and hosts. 10/10👍

The location of the hotel is right in the center of the city. We were welcomed by the owner of the hotel, who explained all the necessary things and we also learned about the possibilities, which we had no idea about when we booked the hotel. Everything was taken care of and everything we could think of (even outside the hotel services) could be arranged at the hotel reception. And as a bonus, the breakfast was famous.

Still not yet stayed in the hotel I can put my comment after 25th of October 25 But so far mounting, Hotel Lewis in kaprun is corporate very nice. I looking forward to stay in this hotel & hope meet my satisfaction

Great location and view of the lake, but wished we had booked a room with a balcony and view. Room and facilities were very clean. A bit impersonal as there was no staff in the evening but overall great stay.

Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare.

Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed. Easy parking and access to the building. All conveniences close by or a short drive away. Stunning views from the balcony and all round great place to stay.

Great for family vacation.

Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

Wram , welcoming and relaxed. Atmosphere of adventure and history. Other residents very friendly. Breakfast exceptional- and we have travelled a lot around Europe- one of the best. Fresh and tasty evening meal with something for all tastes ¹on the menu. Perfect location for the pass .

An excellent place to visit. Beautiful scenery. Loads to see and do. Lovely food. Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.

A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main road, close to ski slopes, but you need a car to get there. Breakfast was in the room, but dinner was out at diverse restaurants. You can eat at a local restaurant, very friendly and good food or in Zell am See where we found a lot of different types of restaurants. Piesendorf is easy to walk through and this is one part that I liked that you can walk even during the winter time in fresh air and you can stop at the café/bakery for a cake and a coffee and enjoy the local little village atmosphere. it was great! During the day you can ski, walk or just seat in the cafe. Its great!

We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The property has plenty of secure parking and like us the owners have classic Volkswagens so we felt that they understood our needs perfectly. The house itself is a tradiional building with flowers on the balconies and a large garden. The flat was very spacious and the views of mountains all around are stunning. There are so many things to do and see within an hours drive and all of the scenery along the way is breathtaking. One of the highlights was driving the car to Bad Fusch which was reccomeneded by the owners. We just didnt have enough time to do everything so we will be coming back next year for a longer stay! We were on a driving holiday visiting the high alpine passes. The Grossglockner road tool booth is five minutes away and opens at 5:30am; we left the hotel at 5:25am and were there as it opened. The hotel was welcoming, clean and as advertised. We ate at the hotel, having been up to the Edelweißspitze (the toll is reduced after 6pm, so we arrived and went up before dinner). Some rooms overlook the main road, so you might want to request a room on the other side of the hotel if the noise of the occasional vehicle bothers you.
