The meal in the evening was brilliant. I had Käse Spergle and it was delicious. Breakfast was good too, with lots of choice and plenty to fill up on before setting off to cycle over the Alps. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

We stayed at Gasthof Paluda Pizzeria in Dalaas during our Lechweg hike and had a wonderful experience. The location is easy to reach and perfect for walkers on the trail, and the host was very helpful. Our room was clean and cosy. The house was a bit outdated, but that was reflected in the price and didn’t affect our comfort. We had delicious supper. We walked from here to Freiburger Hütte. You can walk through Hintergant and start ascending afterward.
