Definitely the best stay ever. We only are sad that we couldn't stay longer, so next time we will at least have 2 or 3 nights. Very human and warm welcome by Peter, who is such a lovely person ! The room is EXTRA : Clean, well equiped, beautiful and calm, don't worry about the noise ! There is none ! The breakfast ? Fabulous, local products, I can only recommand to try their Peppadew which are delicious ! And the breads ! Wow ! The woman who bring us our coffee and plates (very smiling and she was blond with short hair, is such a kind person)

We stayed in an apartment that is simply furnished (as shown in the pictures), but clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed, a dishwasher and a washing machine are definitely a plus, also bathroom and one more separate toillet. The location is by the road and easily accessible, and there’s a larger supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away. Spacious parking area. The apartment is in a quiet part of the building, so the nearby restaurant and road traffic were not disturbing at all. Very, very friendly staff! Breakfast was included in the price – it was a classic selection (cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, cereals, jam, vegetables…), but more than enough for us. On our last day, which was a Sunday, we had to leave early, before breakfast was served in the dining area. The staff kindly prepared everything for us the night before and left it in the fridge so we could have breakfast in the morning. Very good internet connection! Considering the price, I would definitely recommend this place!

A really excellent hotel. We were a group of 3 on a cycling trip from the uk and this was the best stay of our 7 nights. Excellent service, food and very comfortable (great showers!). We would thoroughly recommend it.

I was interested in visiting Slovenj Gradec for its museums, hikes and cycle rides, and when I spotted the Hiska I knew I would come this year for sure! It was in a perfect location - a quiet spot in the woods behind the Bimar organic farm, but 500 metres from the middle of town with restaurants and shops. We hired bikes (from the owners of the Hiska - all very convenient) and cycled the Strekna route to Velenje (perfect; no traffic) and also hiked in the hills, and when we came home we could relax in the hot tub or take a sauna, or simply sit in the hammock and look at the views. Jurij and his fmaily attended to our every need, providing so much food for breakfast (egg, sausage, cheese, meat, yoghurt, cake, delicious bread) that one night we even had some of the eggs and sausages for dinner as well. There were also numerous different aperitifs waiting in the fridge!

Beautiful and absolutely stunning view on the river Drau, very friendly owner, a place to totally relax and enjoy live :) will come back for sure! You can use the outdoor kitchen, the indoor kitchen, the pool, a fireplace (with wood!), and there is a lovely "museum" there as well! Owner seems to be a car- and rallye- lover :) It was the perfect place to end our Road-Trip in Slovenia and relax for 2 days.
