The Hotel is located very conveniently, just on the right side of the main street in Kleindorf (direction Lienz). There is a very spacious car park in front of it and a bus stop at the southern entrance to the Hotel, just on the south-western corner of the building, so its location simply could not be better for those who arrive here in order to ski on the Mölltal Glacier. Please do not repeat my mistake and do not wait for the glacier shuttle bus at the bus stop on the main street in Kleindorf, also nearby the Hotel, as the skibus does not stop there and different lines operate there. Yes, this bus will take you directly to the lower station of the glacier express. The Hotel is quite large, features over 40 rooms of different type and size on four floors, even an apartment, a small swimming pool, a sauna and a fitness center. The room in which I lived (208) was very spacious (a double room for single use), clean, quiet, warm, had a clean bathroom and a big balcony with a mountain view. The hotel staff was very nice, friendly, professional, dedicated and helpful, especially Mr. Patryk who speaks a range of languages fluently: Slovakian, Polish, German and English. A buffet style breakfast definitely gives you enough energy for a day full of adventures and three-course dinners are delicious, diversified and feature the local cousine. The WiFi is stable and its signal strong, no matter in which part of the Hotel you use it. There is a ski gears storage room in the building opposite the Hotel - you can dry your skis and ski boots there. Even though the swimming pool is quite small, you can have it just for yourself if you arrive in a period when not many guests stay at the Hotel. My five-night stay at Sporthotel Mölltal was very enjoyable and definitely exceed my expectations, therefore I do recommend it to anyone who is thinking about skiing on the Mölltal Glacier or in the Ankogel-Mallnitz ski resort. It was a very good idea to stay there during my ski holiday.

My four-day stay at Pension Edlinger in Mallnitz was very enjoyable and it met my expectations fully. The owners of the property, Mignon and Nick, definitely made me feel like at home. They are very friendly, nice and guest-oriented. Mignon is able to respond all your questions regarding the local area, is very helpful and happy to meet all your needs related to your stay, for example the earlier time of breakfast, whilst Nick can advise you on hiking in the mountains surrounding Mallnitz. My room (number 8) was located in the attic (third floor) and very cozy, clean and quiet. I really liked it and felt there very comfortable. After days spent on skiing I did really relax and rest in my room. Hot water was available all the time, the heating was efficient, therefore the room was warm and a nice place to stay in. The Wi-Fi signal is strong in the room. There is also a ski and snowboard storage room and a free on site car park. Breakfasts featured all what I needed. The quality/price was very good. What I liked a lot was the proximity of the bus (skibus) stop - it is located only 20 m from the entrance to the Pension. You can use it to get to the Ankogel-Mallnitz Ski Resort (almost 10 min, 3 km) and the Mölltal Glacier Ski Resort (about 45 min, 25 km). Moreover, there is a nice cafe on the ground floor, just behind the reception, a cafe garden in front of the entrance to the Pension and an excellent Restaurant Eggerhof opposite Pension Edlinger. You might also want to spend a nice time at Tauernbad (baths and sauna) situated in a 10-minute walking distance from Pension Edlinger. Mignon and Nick, as new owners of the Pension, are currently re-designing its style, especially the ground floor, to make it ''more Carinthian''. However, their work does not affect guests' comfort in any way. I have very good memories related to my stay at Pension Edlinger and do recommend you this choice, too.

We travelled with a rather large group of friends, so we were assigned a separate dining room for all our meals, which was great because it meant we could enjoy ourselves without bothering the other guests too much. The hosts were very helpful. The food was good, based on traditional meals, but there were also vegetarian options and special menus for the children. The apartments were very spacious, as well as the balcony (which we did not use because it was winter, but I imagine it is wonderful during warmer seasons).

The apartment in in a beautiful location - the nature, the mountains are striking. The accommodation itself was great as well, a really spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen, the apartment is in general modern and very pleasant to be in. A part of the hotel is also a smal garden with a garden pond, where one can have a swimm - we didn't dare to (in April), but in summer it could be a great refreshment for sure. All in all, I can only recommend!

Very nice and helpful hotel owner. Tasty food, large portions. Meals served very quickly. Clean rooms, (cleaned every day). Good location - you can get to the ski resort in Bad Gastein by train (which also transports cars) in 20 minutes. We recommend it, we will gladly come back.

Sonja and the family are the nicest people in Mallnitz. We have been going there 3 winter seasons in a row. We really like brakfast, sauna included, and comfy rooms, with ski room to dry the boots.

The location of the hotel is too good, a quiet and pleasant place for a good vacation. The staff is extremely friendly, the food is excellent and varied. The hotel is nice and pleasant to stay in.

The apartment house is situated at a wonderful place, close to several hiking areas. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy. A supermarket is next to the house.
