- From US$290.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 485 reviewsExceptional service by all staff, everyone we passed by had a huge smile and greeting for us. Didn't have a bad meal the whole time we were there. Plenty of activities to keep us occupied between lounges by the pool. Cichetti for dinner was absolutely delicious, can highly recommend the gnocci served with beautiful Wilyabrup wines. We ordered the lunch hamper for Christmas day and it was a bargain for $99 filled with prawns, smoked salmon, salads, loaf of baked bread and heaps more. Our room was clean and comfortable and serviced daily, we had resident wallabies and bungarras walking around and through the grounds. I loved that the bungalows were a good distance apart too. We felt like every effort was made for us and loved our stay. Hope to be back again soon!Guest review byMeaganThailand
- From US$302.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 380 reviewsAmazing!!!!! Such a pretty resort and the room was fantastic. It was a little far from the centre of Broome but they have free bikes for guests to use which was fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay. It was also quiet at night which we loved. Washing facilities were free and there was an outdoor shower which we could use as we arrived early! They handed us towels and we could sit by the pool until our room was ready (it was ready earlier than expected, amazing). When our taxi didn’t show up the lovely receptionist brought us to the restaurant in her own car. We also got some free Champagne whilst we were celebrating a birthday. Overall: 10/10Guest review byAnoukNetherlands

As the Courthouse was in town we could walk everywhere, a good variety of places to eat, we liked DMK Balinese restaurant opposite Coles, Ginreab Thai, Mr Song Vietnamese. Papa Fuego Argentinian food was amazing, Matsos Brewery and the Roey do good food too. Tourist information just down the road, very helpful staff. Plenty of activities you can do from Broome, lots to see and do. We have done Horizontal Falls by air and that was amazing. Helicopter flight to Eco Beach a great day out. Snubfin Dolphins and Whale watching, Dinosaur footprint too fabulous. We have done all these trips more than once! Bus transport to take you to Cable Beach, where there are more good places to eat.Guest review bySharonAustralia - 8.0

I really enjoyed all the day tours I was able to do from Kununurra to Lake Argyle, Bungle Bungle, Mitchell Falls and El Questro and there are some lovely art galleries in town. Generally people were friendly however I wouldn't venture out after dark. I was very glad I chose the Kimberley Croc Motel as it is very central, right opposite Coles, so easy walking distance. It's nothing flash but has a lovely little pool and courtyard, a good laundry and kitchen so very economical, and also pet-friendly. It is also secure. If you have a vehicle there is lovely accommodation on the edge of town beside or near the lake.Guest review byPamela - 4.0

Unfortunately Halls Creek is suffering from lack of inspiration! Information Centre not open so no information of the area, it is run down and needs a good lot of help from the WA govt to encourage tourism ... There is a lot to see and the history is amazing. Roads are very poor to the sights people wish to see and explore. Indigenous population friendly and I'm sure with a little encouragement & support many would be able to find employment without the constant "put down" there seems to be!Guest review byJanAustralia - 8.0

Derby was a cute town with a lovely art gallery where you can watch the artist at work and learn about other artists in the area. You can even get a cuppa and cake there. The sculptures around the town are lovely. The boab trees are interesting. We are at the boab inn and the Spinifex. Both were great meals.Guest review byTaniaAustralia - 10.0
Just get there no matter what .
Just get there no matter what . Everything in the Kimberley is larger than life and this is beyond belief . Well run establishment which works like clockwork. Generator runs for limited periods but is off at night Meals were three course and like dining at a restaurant. Great size tentsGuest review byBadeggAustralia - 10.0
The lake views never get old.
The lake views never get old. The staff are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend doing the boat tour and the guide Lukas was knowledgeable and super fun. The picnic spot down near the discharge into the Ord was peaceful. The pool was great but too cold to enter (im a Territorian 😂). The homestead museum was a highlight with so much nice old memorabilia there. Grassed areas were green and perfect for a walk or to sit and take it all in. I also recommend going to Kununurra and Wyndham as there's so much history to take in. I will definitely be back multiple times. Just kicking myself I didn't visit sooner. Don't make my mistake and check it out.Guest review byCraigAustralia - 10.0
So wonderfully peaceful and remote.
So wonderfully peaceful and remote. We did an amazing 6 hour tour with Bundy and four of his family. Cannot recommend highly enough! Culture and country tour… our eyes and hearts were opened and in awe of the stories and wisdom and the way this land is cared for by the beautiful Bardi Jawa mob.Guest review byJanetAustralia - 6.0
Not much to Wyndham itself but very interesting area.
Not much to Wyndham itself but very interesting area. You need a 4WD. Recommend the Cambridge Gulf lookout, bird watching, walk to the Grotto and aboriginal cave painting. If you want the things in 4. below then perhaps not.Guest review byMargaretAustralia - 10.0

Broome is a beautiful place with so much to do and amazing food I would recommend at least 10 days to do everything. Cable beach is amazing but quite expensive you can split your say with luxury and then the backpackers in town. Also a starting place for many Kimberly tours. a sunset cruse is a must. Baramundi wings at the Wharf are fabulous. the bus service was great in May, it has changed since now only hourly and stops from 13:30 to 15:45. so you may need to hire a car or scooter.Guest review byMeganAustralia - 8.0
There are hidden gems.
There are hidden gems. Some great galleries and the landscape around Kununurra especially Lake Argyle - breathtaking; over 350 billion years old. The sunset cruise on Lake Argyle is a must do. Wanted to see the Bungle Bungles... but needed another person to book a seat for the flight. There is a great coffee shop in the centre of town - yummy cakes. You can also learn more about Argyle Diamonds which are stunning. Artopia is a fantastic gallery in town and there is an Indigenous Art Gallery on the outskirts - a very inspiring place. Kununurra suprised me. It has a lot to offer - it is a great starting point if you want to explore the Kimberly.Guest review byAngelaAustralia
