We loved our stay at Whitsunday Apartments. Our stay here was a dream and Whitsunday Apartments exceeded all our expectations. We chose a Deluxe room (with a view of the coral sea), the view was incredible and we were very lucky to have a newly refurbished apartment. The cleanliness was impeccable, inside the apartment there was everything you need, every day the towels were changed and rubbish was collected, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a shuttle every 10 minutes that went to the marina and the centre. We could not have chosen better, the only regret is that we were only there for a few days. Thank you to all the staff, hope to see you soon.

Impeccable service. Right from the airport pickup to the champagne welcome drink to the amazing hospitality during our stay. Breakfast was outstanding! Since we were a honeymoon couple, we got a room with an amazing view of the infinity pool and the beach, as well as a complimentary bottle. If you’re staying at the Hamilton Island, you must stay here for a couple of nights with your partner.

Great location. On site manager and receptionist were very accommodating to our needs and extra helpful suggestions.
Close proximity to eating places and a Woolworth and shops about 5mins drive.
Sea swimming accessable and the resort pool also available.
Beautiful scenery from our apartment. Clothes washing and drying facilities. Everything that I wanted and needed.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for our family of five with 2 lounge rooms and bathrooms. The view was breathtaking. Short walk to the marina where we did a day cruise from. Easy to find. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend

The sunset view location was beautiful. With the golf cart, we were able to access the whole island. There were plenty of towels and everything we needed. It was well furnished. The balcony and barbeque were a bonus. The bedrooms were large with closet space.

We loved the vibe there, we came for the music festival but stayed for 9 days as seemed a shame not to take in some cruises, can recommend the Camira, but make sure you don’t have mobility issues
The stunning views over the bay and the Islands are fantastic whatever the weather, the board walk and the esplanade are really lovely.
Loved KC’S with live music every night
Handy having a woolies, bottle shop and pharmacy right in town
We were a bit unprepared for the restaurant and bar prices
We had a great couple of nights out on 1 of the islands, definitely would do that again.

Loved the island experience, made all the better as we had beautiful weather. We ate in half the time and also enjoyed fish and chips, a tavern meal and a dinner cruise.
So easy to get around in the buggies, but could walk to icecream or coffee.
Enjoyed the pool at the villas but also used the pools at the beach area.

What isn't to love about Bowen!!
What isn't to love about Bowen!! It's a beautiful spot with some great cafes and pubs. Our family and friends love it and its on 45mins down the road. This time we stayed again at the Horseshoe Bay Caravan Park which we love for overnight and long weekend stays. The cafe is right there for all meal options and the cocktail menu is great!!
I love that you can walk to Horseshoe bay for swim or round the corner to Grays bay. We didn't get out the bikes this time but it's easy enoungh to ride to other beaches. Don't forget Bowen has a water park for the kids ( up to about 12yrs) not really designed for big kids.

Small island with limited numbers allowed. Good for relaxing few days. Family friendly. Weather was perfect. Restaurant food to a high standard.
Buffet dinner not good. Gym needs aircon. Southern end of island not renovated after cyclone. In saying that the other pool areas seemed sufficient.

Prossie is a great little town if you’re looking for somewhere away from the busyness of Airlie Beach. The aquatic centre and water park is free and a great way to cool off. An excellent fish n chips takeaway (Fishi’s) on the main road. Two supermarkets and walking along the Main Street you’ll see artwork on the footpath synonymous with the area. Plenty of pubs to wet your whistle but I can’t comment on other food outlets. I’m still discovering the attractions around here.

Lovely place to just stop and relax, with smaller numbers than most resorts, no children and no motorized water sports, but it does need some TLC if it wants to keep its 4* rating. Getting there should be discounted if you are staying there vs visiting for the day. The day trippers tended to take over a bit so I think they should charge more for this. The restaurant serves lovely fresh food and the staff are very friendly and helpful, if somewhat transient. Was disappointed no spa service was on offer while we were there due to staffing issues.

It was useful to have a Coles store near by, ie within walking distance. The Woolworths precinct was about 3 kms away. too far, for me to carry shopping. There were the usual MacDonalds & KFC nearby. I was happy to attend the Baptist church which shared the premises with other Christian denominations. The bus service to and from Proserpine was punctual and the drivers were prepared to drive passengers to their destinations.
I found the local people very friendly & happy to chat as I passed them on my walks.

The resort is in a stunning location with great facilities. Unfortunately the resort was constantly short staffed during our 4 night stay which led to long wait times and waiting around for restaurant and pool services to open. The restaurants are also dealing with shortages of menu items at all restaurants which is a little frustrating as there are already limited options. Staff are lovely but also seem to have limited experience in hospitality unless dealing with the Fijian staff, who were exceptional!
Expected a higher level of service for the reputation of the resort.

Shute Harbour is quiet, beautiful and has a terminal for trips to the islands and the reefs. It offers no shops or restaurants but by car either your own or ridesharing, or reasonable bus service, one can get to such facilities with little trouble - only 10 km to Airlie Beach, which is of course much noisier and more of a party place.
