Firstly, the people were excellent. Friendly from the moment we walked through the door, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms had everything you need, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean . Oh, the restaurant dinner was first class! The lamb was done perfectly and the vegetables were delicious!

Beautiful Hotel. With excellent service. The Hotel was very clean and very well staffed. The rooms were large and very comfortable, as well as very nice. They had a wonderful buffet with everything you could think of. One of the best hotel breakfast’s we had with traveling in Europe. Location is wonderful only a few blocks from the city square. I was very happy with our stay in hotel, everything was great. Just one small disappointment..Parking. There was not any free parking spot for our car, despite I tried to book it in advance. We had to left our car on the edge of the town which was uncomfortable with the kids and luggages..But still, we really enjoyed the time in Alfa Inn.

I've been to Bruges a few times, last time was 9 years ago and not much has changed in that time, which is good. The city is beautiful, clean and compact which means you can easily see all of the old, historic part on foot. You can get a horse-drawn carriage ride around the old part if walking all day is not for you. There are plenty of gorgeously decorated shops, especially if you go during December for the Christmas Markets. Also there are plenty of places to eat and it's worth checking out some of the ones that are not in the main Market Square as they are rather touristy, and perhaps of lesser quality.

Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.

I have travelled back to the UK from De Panne many times, it is only about 50 mins from the tunnel, and far enough away from Calais and all its problems. Plus, De Panne is a Belgian holiday seaside resort, lots of restaurants, and off the promenade, lots of last minute present buying shops. I have bought so much chocolate from here in the past.

Nieuwpoort consists of the main town which in a little distance inland, and Nieuwpoort-Bad which is at the seaside. Make sure you pick the right one. Nieuwpoort-Bad is one of the better Belgian seaside towns with shops, good hotels and apartments, and entertainment. It’s also a good base from which to drive or take the Littoral tram along the coast. Parking can be a pain, but most of the seaside towns offer 30mins free then €1 or €1.50 per hour. But you have to register your number plate and take a ticket for the free 30 mins option. Santos Palace in nearby Koksijde is a must visit for hot chocolate, waffles and patisserie.
