The hotel is very nicely designed, with an exceptional spa area and a huge, meticulously clean swimming pool, which is half indoors, half outdoors. The surrounding landscape offers an impressive mountain panorama. They run their own biological farm and use their products in their restaurant, which results in very tasty fresh food. The choices both at breakfast and dinner are many with good variation from day to day. The services in the spa center were very good, and the physiotherapy treatment no-fuss state-of-the-art.

Booking was easy and reception staff were quick to answer any queries and direct us to local ski schools and hire (Prin 2000). Check in was easy with helpful, friendly reception staff, who organized our ski pass for our stay. The fresh fruit, wine and sweet was very welcomed after a long drive. Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra bedding as required. The view from our balcony was spectacular - looking up to the ski slopes. Buses to the first Gondala and to the base were on time and fast, just some days booking was required for the early busses. Breakfast was a great array of international and local delights. The kids club was amazing with beautiful, caring staff that immediately engaged with our daughter. On the last day she stayed as we were packing the car. She didn't want to leave! Although not in the center of the action of the ski base, it was perfect for us. It was quiet at night, but had all the amenities that you might need, or want. Parking in front of the hotel was close and safe. Transport was easy to the center and if inclined a not so far walk. We will definitely return to Lucky Bansko on our next ski trip.

    This property should have at least 9,5! Everything was fantastic - location in the picturesque place in the Pirin mountains, huge territory of the complex with various outlets and activities (restaurants, bars, spa center, billiards, board games, boutiques, shops, etc.), amazingly friendly staff, stylish spacious rooms with the cozy terraces and mountain view, high quality cosmetics, outstanding cleanliness. This hotel is incredibly luxurious and stylish, most of all I like the presence of fireplaces, coziness, paintings gallery in the halls, and the use of wood, huge windows and spaces in the interior. It is comfortably just to stay here in the restaurant with huge fireplace and a cup of tea. Specially I would mention food and beverage facilities. We had breakfast and dinner included and were incredibly surprised of the set-up and the food options. You will find here everything you need on the dinner buffet: 10+ dishes on cold stations, more that 6 cheese types, 4+ dishes on the hot station, different soups from day to day, vine card, fruits, fresh vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, 5+ salads. Breakfast was excellent! There are opportunities to create your own to take everything from the buffet, however service staff will kindly offer their help and you will be served hot scrambled eggs straight from the kitchen immediately. All the drinks will be also pleasantly served for you. Exclusively would thank Tatyana, Emine and Evgeniya from F&B, Pavel and Artem from FO and to all HSK team for their outstanding service and customer care. Thank you so much! The staff is unobtrusively helpful, extremely polite and always available. The food is excellent. Compliments to the chef. The excellent location just 7 km from Bansko and 45 minutes drive to Gotse Delcev, as well as the proximity to beautiful ski trails, the forest, springs with mineral water, the center of Dobrenishte, the waterfalls of St. Nikola and many more places to explore, makes this hotel the right choice for a vacation. Hygiene is at a high level. Bathrobes are provided for the pools and the spa.

    The hotel was very clean and nice , rooms very very big with king size beds, bathroom big with big shower , they welcome us with some fruits in the room table and a bottle of water which was nice . Spa very big with multiple sauna, pool and jacuzzi, relaxing room with heated seats . Breakfast very nice with plenty variety of food for all tastes

    I love the Pirin Mountain / Bankso area - travel is a bit hard to get there from where we came from, but once there we enjoyed the outdoors - I picked the wrong hotel this time, but last year we had a great stay and will return to the previous location to be sure.

    Banya is a small town with a large number of thermal springs - so great for tourist and locals as a health retreat. Lovely scenery, calming, and close to busy Bansko its the perfect get away. Try a visit to the oldest outdoor thermal pool and their great value restaurant - Izgreva Spa!

    Great view, a bit distant from the big cities but that's the charm of it. Mineral water is a treasure, outdoor fun activities for the kids were much appreciated. Fantastic food, great value for the cost. Locals are super nice, make you feel more than welcome.

    Aspen Golf resort is located a few kilometers above the main road leading to Bansko. There are several smaller markets in the area. Lidl is located in Ralog, 6 km away. from the resort. The resort is located in a very quiet place in nature. Some buildings are not completed because the tourist complex is being built.

    My main reason for visiting Dobrinishte was to ride the amazing narrow guage railway from Septemvri. Dobrinishte is the terminus. Out of the skiing season it was quite a sleepy place but with a few restaurants to choose from. Some interesting buildings. I only stayed overnight because I was riding the rails but if I had a car there are several nearby places I would like to visit.

    We traveled during the summer.

    We traveled during the summer. So, take this into consideration only for summer trips. The whole Bansko town looks focused on one thing: winter sports. During the summer, it's deserted. We only saw a few football teams for their summer camps and a few stragglers. In July, most of the restaurants are closed. Same with most shops. There was a bit of animation in the old city, with a few more shops and restaurants open. The gondola felt quite expensive: around 100 eur for a family of 2 adults and 3 children. The funny part: it was going empty all day, with no passengers.

    Banya is a town with mineral hot springs and it’s only about 4 miles to Bankso, a ski resort town with a very nice old town, we stayed in Seven Springs hotel for their charming atmosphere and hot springs pools. We walked around the town but came back to dine at the hotel’s cozy restaurant Kristina.

    A nice little Bulgarian village!

    A nice little Bulgarian village! There are a few good restaurants, especially the Makedonska Kruchma restaurant! If you want to dip into mineral water there is a natural mineral hot spring pool, jacuzzi at the Alpha Spa & Pool center after a long skiing day at Bansko. A quiet and relaxed little place that has a lot of charm.
