It was so clean, so comfortable!!! I wanted to take the bed home with me!!! 🙈 the staff so friendly and so helpful!! Was a trip I would never forget !!! Unfortunately dint realize all the amenities that the hotel had (like the casino, the cinema) it was on the last day I found out and dint get to enjoy those but such an amazing hotel!!! Home away from home

Everything is nice, nice location, nice staff, nice food, except mosquitoes are too much and there is no A/C in the room and even the whole place. This is an extension from the beach cafe. It exactly locate in the beach. If A/C is installed in the future, definitely I like to visit again.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The owner is exceptionally helpful, speaks multiple languages, and goes above and beyond to assist with every detail of your stay. One of the highlights was definitely the food, cooked by the owner himself. Every meal was delicious, and it’s especially convenient since there are very few restaurants in the area. Another fantastic feature is the driver service. If you’re planning to explore, having a driver is essential as taxis are hard to come by, and this service made everything so much easier. Lastly, the location is unbeatable. Situated directly on the beach, you can enjoy the sound of the waves and breathtaking views right from the terrace. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and seamless getaway!

This was my first time coming to Africa with my husband and we were looking for a place to stay that was more private and relaxing and I must say ELIA Residence superseded my expectations. We stayed in the SEDO room, it was spacious and clean the bed was huge and the room overlooked the pool. The staff went over and beyond during our stay! They were Super helpful, the Resturant staff, reception staff and security team were professional throughout our stay and went over and beyond to ensure all our need were met, even with the language barrier they always ensured we were taken care of throughout our stay. The food was AMAZING, I highly recommend dining at the Resturant. Thank you to everyone who made our stay enjoyable we will differently be back.

I don't even know where to start. The owner was an amazing host - we got to meet him upon arrival. I loved the room and how spacious it was. It was great for my family and two young kids. The breakfasts and lunches were delicious as well. I also loved how carefully curated the art was. Everything was beautiful and I will stay there each time. We honestly never wanted to leave the little oasis in Cotonou.

Most of the iconic sites to see are not too far away,...

Most of the iconic sites to see are not too far away, including the beach! The city is generally clean and relatively low cost on transport if you use the local taxi apps; Motorcycles are as many as the population of people! We only stayed one day so definitely too short to give a complete review. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cotonou and highly recommend it as a tour destination.

I loved Bab's Dock and the Amazon monument.

I loved Bab's Dock and the Amazon monument. My friends and I still talk about the meals we had at King Food. It is very easy to get around Cotonou. Download Gozem and you can never be stranded.

Everyone should visit Cotonou, there is a wide variety of local food, the locals are very friendly and I love that when you go shopping, they recommend what is nicer, even if it is cheaper than what you thought you would buy, its museum is also very interesting, as well as the public spaces, with images, people laughing, with their traditions, very cultural.
