Excellent location, close to everything. I had a rental to get to know the island but walking around was just fine too. Very modern interior design and I like the art paintings. Exceptionally clean and after a busy day snorkeling, hiking or diving, it is the perfect place to relax.

Very nice location, quiet one, on the sea shore, just in front of Klein Bonaire beach, which makes it an excelent place for snorkeling/diving. As you enter the water there is a reef so you can see plenty of the amazing marine life.The resort is located about 20 minutes walking distance from the city center, on the sea shore, with beautiful views. The people working at the resort were very nice and very helpful whenever we had questions, requests or needed guidings. The resort has a pool, a restaurant and a beach bar and a dock for small boats, which makes the experience even more pleasant and the "Wannadive" diving office is just in front of the resort's front office. We reccomend this place for diving lovers but not only. It is also a great place for families with children. Also...good wifi :)) We would definately return here!

The resort was absolutely fantastic. The staff were super nice and professional, always showed the highest attention to the guests. The whole area was quiet and calm, the garden is stunning. The breakfast was really fresh and delicious with a various choice. We appreciated the comfortable and well-equipped room. The only, tiny problem was with the small body wash and shampoo tubes, but the bathroom upgrade had already been scheduled during our stay and they put big containers in the shower. It was a great update.

Oasis is wanderfull. Clean, cozy, have a nice kitchen and many features, to not comment that Kim and John are amazing hosts. They have excellent estructure for who wants to dive and the attention dedicate to all details to make you fell happy is there. I will come back for sure.

Personally, I like discovering more of the country people...

Personally, I like discovering more of the country people culture and seeing more of the local areas. In this trip I needed peace and quiet, therefore what I did serve its purpose. I will see you next year hopefully.

There are so many dive sites, and if you need a "check dive"...

There are so many dive sites, and if you need a "check dive" plan to do that first. Then, you can spend at least a few days diving various locations after which you should plan 24 hours before flying. Plenty of excellent restaurants. If you want to visit the national park plan one full day to drive through the long loop. It's magnificent.

Lots of beautiful beaches (though they name every sliver so before going it seems more overwhelming than it is.) Glad I rented a truck the first week & just explored. (I was there a total of 15 days - spent 7 with a dive group.) If you want to go further than just very close to your accommodation (other than downtown), you need to rent a truck. And, there is so much to see I recommend doing it at least for the first part of your trip. (Taxis cost about half a day rental. Be sure to get full coverage if you plan to explore because sticker type bushes WILL scrape & you will not even realize it is happening. Also, people tailgate BAD here.) I enjoyed diving, snorkeling, going to see the various sites on a drive to the wind sailing area (which I want to do next time.), watching wind sailers, going to the Donkey Sanctuary as well as the dog / cat rescue & driving up to Rencon & the lake where the flamingos are protected. Salt Pier is also very interesting. (I am not much of a history buff until I visit but I enjoyed learning history here.)

I love the opportunity that you can freely swim in the sea...

I love the opportunity that you can freely swim in the sea in town. I went on a tour around the island and saw some great places. I visited Rincon twice and had dinner at a Creole restaurant. The goat meat is great. Yes it's easy to get around the town by feet. You can rent a car, if necessary use the GPS to drive around the island.
