There was a survey after the first day and the one small thing raised was addressed the same day. The facilities are better than the photos (suggest to retake them to match the reality!), lovely pools, hammocks, green space and games space and beautiful decor throughout. Great to have massage on site and lovely beach just across the road. Lovely breakfast with different options every day and other meals available to order throughout the day. Good tourist service to other locations. Great room service with daily biscuits on the bed, high quality toiletries and gift bag when leaving. All these little details made the difference. Ilhéus has a rich historical background, but the town feels...
Ilhéus has a rich historical background, but the town feels neglected, with many historical buildings falling into disrepair. It’s not particularly touristic—more functional than charming. That said, there are some good bars and restaurants, and the centrally located airport is convenient. The beaches, while decent, don’t compare to the stunning ones in the surrounding region. Ilheus was always a sleepy town where one stopped on the way to somewhere else. Recently, however, it has invested a lot in improving its tourism infrastructure. Besides the beaches, the food and the music are also great.Guest review byWilliamUnited States - 10.0

The hotel staff impressed us, they were so kind and friendly. The room was fairly large with a nice kitchen, comfortable bed and good shower, top quality towels, and a well fitted good sized wardrobe. Facilities were refurbished and well cleaned. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. Breakfast was really good and the restaurant had good quality fairly priced food for lunch and dinner. The hotel was just a few steps from the main attractions. The Vesuvius restaurant was opposite to the hotel and the bataclan was a few meters nearby.
