Location is great, everything is within walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff was friendly. Drinkable water refill was available on each floor. Two cold water dispensers with fruit fragrance near the check-in desk was a nice touch.

Beautiful hotel, with amazing amenities. Loved the mineral pools. Our room was stunning, with attention to detail. We received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for our 20th anniversary, which was much appreciated. Staff were always friendly and professional. I highly recommend Oak Bay Beach Hotel. Very nice apartment hotel near the Coc Beach. We were located in the apartment beat the beach which was a great advantage. Comfortable bed and quite big bathroom and kitchen area. We didn’t use a hot tube as you need a key for it and works only during the reception hours. Generally I looked this place a lot.

I did not spend much time in Richmond this trip, as I came in to see the Lene Lovich show at the Rickshaw theatre in Vancouver. I am however familiar with, and drawn to Richmond, particularly for it's diversity in both people and entertainment options.

James Bay, Beacon Hill Park, Government Street and all...

James Bay, Beacon Hill Park, Government Street and all surrounding historic downtown core are destinations for tourists and travellers by providing a sense of "old European city" vibe. However, the rest of downtown still suffers from homelessness and this is something that should be prioritized by like local authorities.

This was a whirl wind trip for us so we didn't get to do too much. You really need to have time and money in Whistler and we had neither! lol We saw the village, toured around, went out to Lost Lake, to the Re-Use-It centre, ordered pizza and had fun swimming and in the hot tub. We are local and I used to live in Whistler so we didn't do touristy things which was just fine!

Kamloops isn't the regular stopping point for many. We made use of the various walks, the Kenna Cartwright park had a fabulous ridge walk. We ate in the Noble Pig, walkable from the accommodation and well worth the visit. Kamloops lake is very popular if you have a boat or like fishing. It is a town of many sports, we even found a "horseshoe" court! Wild deer came into town to eat the overflowing vegetables at the community gardens. A sight to remember

We came to Prince George to visit the Ancient Cedars and what a great experience that was just over 1 hour and 15 min past PG. We also spent time geocaching im the area, visiting many parks like Moores Meadow, Connaught Hill, and Ness Lake which was great for swimmkng, and Deadfall brewing which were all fantastic. We quite enjoyed our mini trip to Prince Geroge.

North Vancouver is cleaner and more outgoing than downtown area. Just about 5km to Capilano from this area. Lots of great restaurants and cafés at the Pier. Drinks and dinner at Joey’s, not too pricy and great presentation and taste of food. Easy access to downtown via SeaBus.
