There is so much to see and do, and coming from a UK city, I felt rather small in the city of Toronto. We.made the CNE which was vast and so.much to see and do at it, plus (unknowingly) were there for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and saw some film stars up close. Visited the zoo, aquarium and CN Tower using the CityPass (worth every penny). Had food at Vagabonds which was lovely. The traffic is horrendous though, so research getting around as some places u need to travel more than a walking distance to get to. We wne to Niagara as well, did the lady of the mist boat trip and got the pass to do stuff on the strip. Stayed at Niagara Falls at least 10 times. Great for a change. Used to stay 2-3 nights. Now going for only 1 night. Live within 2 hour drive from Niagara Falls. Newest kid on the Block, " Niagara takes flight.". 3D movie with sensation of moving across the Niagara region. Amazingly well done. A bit pricey -- $32.75 -- for a 10 minute movie. The pre-movie introductions (20 minutes) was not really worth it. It was probably added to make the total duration to 30 minutes and justify the entrance fee.Guest review byHyderCanada - 8.0

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in: within Canada and abroad. I was concerned and had to check my credit card bill to make sure I wasn;t overcharged. Great service and experience for the price. I really appreciated the accomodations from staff concerning check-in, breakfast (I left for the airpirt early, and they were kind enough to pack me a too go bag) and the free coffee in the lobby. Our two-night trip was to attend the Shaw Festival but we could have stayed longer because there is much to see in NOTL. The restaurants we attended were well appointed and the food was very good. We stayed at the Serenity on the Lake B&B, which was excellent and well located near the historic sight of Butler Barracks and a historic military training field surrounded by trails to walk and explore. Gananoque is a great location to visit all of the 1000 islands on the Canadian side. The town had some nice restaurants. The Old English Pub, Purple House and Grayson's at Wood View Inn. took a 5 Hour tour with City Cruises of the 100 Island with a stop at Boldens castle from the docks in town. It was fantastic. Can't fathom the amount of homeless people sleeping everywhere and anywhere in the city, not a great experience at all. Quite disturbing to see this every day. City is dirty and depressing, even on sunny summer days. I'm embarassed to say that this is my hometown.Guest review byBrousseau
