A small hotel run by the owner who took care of all. Of course Swiss hospitality is superb. The breakfast was more than plenty with surrounding that I felt like eating at home. The hotel was near the train station but no noise disturbed me at all during those 7-night stay.

Staff welcome guests with genuine warmth, The check-in process is swift and hassle-free. The hospitality and service provided by Hotel Appenzell exceeded our expectations. We had to observe a fast, and the staff went out of their way to arrange everything for us at night.

The Hotel Hecht is located in the center of Appenzell, on the edge of the pedestrianized area, and offers you nicely renovated rooms and free Wi-Fi internet access throughout the hotel.

We had the reservation for Hecht hotel, but we got lucky, and they moved us to their 4 star partner hotel ,Romantik hotel santis. The hotel was beautiful, cozy, clean and comfortable. A small corner was dedicated to toys for kids to play. My 5 y/o daughter enjoyed it very much. Breakfast had a lot of options and served in an impressive salon. Feel really good about it. Definitely recommend it.

Our cozy hotel is located in the car-free zone in the center of Appenzell in eastern Switzerland.

Staff was incredibly nice and so patient with all our requests. Rooms looked better than they did online. Accommodations were calm, quiet, clean and very lovely. And the breakfast was delicious. Would absolutely stay again.
