The hotel is brand new, modern and very comfortable. The breakfast is very complete, and all day there is free coffee, tea etc. There is an honesty bar if you like more. The rooms are a 10/10, super comfortable bed, very nice shower. Its so nicely decorated. The hotel is maybe 15-20 mins walk uphill from village center and there s also a free bus going every 15 minutes.

From the location, to the view from room, u can choose Room 22, with a Varendah, everything is super nice. They did not have a buffet breakfast on weekdays, but made special arrangements for us. We are vegetarians. Thank you for taking care.

Location is perfect. Staff is so nice, and the room was perfect. Only stayed one night in iseltwald, and Hotel du lac/iseltwald was one og our highlights of our switzerland trip.

Giessbach is like stepping into a fantasy. The place is fabulous and the interior of the hotel is very butiful. Great nature and beautiful lake surrounding the place. The dinner was great with live, classical music accompanying great food and service. A big surprise was that the same two man orchestra played soft classicalmusic also during breakfast, which was just fantastic. Will gladly come back again, anytime, 10 out of 10:

Splendid view. Super nice croissant. Easy to get by cabine but the last one stop at 17h and if you don't want to walk 55min to get back, hurry up :) However, it's a super nice hiking to do at least once !

Flexibility, familiar atmosphere. The dinner was fantastic (you get the whole menu for the day), and the breakfast was great too. View is good from the balcony.
