Very welcoming and helpful staff. I would especially like to mention the following hotel employees: Lawrence, Julietta, Fabio, Bogdan and Adi. Magnificent view from the room to the lake. The room is comfortable. An unforgettable magic experience of visiting a Japanese restaurant Minamo with a chef Yutaka Kobayashi. Every dish was like a piece of art. Spectacular stay - one of the most magical places I've ever stayed overnight. During my visit, we awoke above the clouds to watch the sunrise, and the experience is simply stunning. The room was perfect - comfortable, clean and more tastefully decorated than other mountaintop hotels I visited in Switzerland. Since all food has to be shipped up to the hotel, the quality of dinner far exceeded my expectations and the dining room is beautiful and classic. Staff agreed to an early check-out to allow me to descend on the first funicular run, which I appreciated.

    Stunning location and views of the lake, mountains and town from our room (57). Gorgeous woodland walks on the doorstep. The hotel is beautiful throughout, beautifully decorated. Room had everything you need including free mini bar, Molton Brown products, robes etc. Large terrace. The funicular takes you down and up to the hotel for free. The one evening meal we ate in the bar was good. Breakfast was excellent and the service very good.

    Lucern is a beautiful city with so much to do and see.

    Lucern is a beautiful city with so much to do and see. The scenery is stunning the day trips you can do are limitless & It’s that good it would be an amazing place to live. Visit the lake and the many day bars along the foreshore at sunset for a drink. You don’t normally associate Switzerland with amazing food however the seafood & the fresh meat were of the highest quality. We also visited Felsenegg Restaurant almost next to the Liv Appartments and this unassuming restaurant was as good as any restaurant anywhere in the world. The service, food wine list and attention to the dinners was amazing

    Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.

    Sursee is a stunningly beautiful town with charming old houses, a picturesque Old Town, excellent restaurants, a castle, a creek, and nearby lake. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.     A beautiful and happy place with plenty to see and do - provided you are clever enough to carry every possible gadget for charging your phones and are lucky enough to get into the accommodation you book. Buses, trains etc are very convenient, and stores like CO-OP are convenient places to pick up essentials - as long as you are aware of the expenses involved and do all you shopping before 7pm!

    Booked room with a mountain view. However, on reaching the property, upgraded to Lake view at a cost of CHF 20 per day. Room had amazing view of Lake and hills. Property is located in Weggis and is easily accessible from Boat and bus ( Frequency of 30mins to 60mins). Town is very peaceful and one can enjoy beautiful walk around the lake. Property has fitness centre, spa and swimming pool which are maintained properly. Had an amazing experience staying at this property.

    If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go. I've seen a review saying it was crowded, but October 2023 it was not, it was very quiet so if you want a bustling vibe it's not for you! I think in summer it may be more of a popular spot.

    Honestly this was one of the prettiest towns I’ve ever visited. The architecture is amazing, the nature is stunning. The clothing shops are so nice. That being said, it’s also one of the most expensive towns I’ve ever been to. All the other places we visited in Switzerland were less expensive. Still, totally worth it. 3- 4 nights is probably enough.

You can walk alongside the lake and there are several places to eat. We visited Mount Rigi which was busy but the 360 view at the top was wonderful. We went up in a cable car then railway then had an easy walk back down to the cable car station
