Scuol itself is surrounded by some lovely smaller villages and on a future visit I believe I'd choose to stay in accommodations in one of these. It is the Alpine beauty surrounding Scuol that is the real attraction, not anything in town. The hotel has some construction underway just behind it, overlooked by the balconies for each room. When I arrived, I requested a different room, higher up and farther away from the noise and dust, and the management was extremely accommodating. They also allowed me to extend my stay by a night upon request and I very much appreciated the flexibility. The view from the balcony of my second room was exquisite. The beds are comfortable, the furnishings clean and basic, the room size sufficient and breakfast was plentiful, if also basic and unoriginal. The venison dinner I had the second night was delicious, perfectly cooked, but pricey (40 euros). The garage was convenient, they accepted my small dog and there's a large public spa connected to the hotel, although I didn't have time to use it. All in all, a good very good choice for a few nights in an amazingly lovely place.Guest review bySydneyUnited States

You can relax in comfortable rooms or on terraces overlooking the beautiful mountains or the historic town. If you feel like a short walk with views, you can take a stroll through the town, the ruins of the castle and then a longer path into the mountains, where you can listen to the sounds of nature among the meadows and pastures. The owners will surround you with care and take care of every detail, we are on the Grand Tour of Switzerland and this is our number 1 of the entire tour. We recommend the place for accommodation to all motorcyclists and not only. Ps. An excellent choice for breakfast will recharge your energy for the nearby trails and mountain passes. Sent is an interesting mosaic.
Sent is an interesting mosaic. It is a small village situated on a high terrace above the En River in the Lower Engagin region. Its threads include farmers, artists/artisans, families, retirees and visitors. The tourist economy supports the village but doesn't define it; that's not always the case in Swiss mountain towns. nice base for walks in the area. Walking around Scuol involves little climbing and descending. It is recommended to take the elevator up and then walk to Prui. This is also a very easy gentle descent, feasible for all types of hikers. For the challenge you go from Prui to Ftan, but we took the chairlift. There are plenty of options for eating out in the center of Scuol. However, restaurants do not open until 6 p.m. and reservations are recommended.Guest review byC.WNetherlands
