Ideal location next to the train station. We were able to leave our luggage with them until check in time which was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean with satellite channels on the TV and a minibar in the room

The food was amazing. Everything was fresh, organic and locally produced... even the herbal teas at breakfast..and the yoghurt, bread from two local bakeries, cheese, butter, fruit, jams and eggs. Dinner likewise, including locally sourced wild game, fungi and chestnuts. The staff from chef, through waiting staff and chambermaids were highly competent, professional, friendly and multilingual. The nicest room I've ever stayed in, large, warm and with a great view, a big luxury bath and his and hers washbasins. The setting at the foot of Val Poschiavo with Lago di Poschiavo to one side and the railway station, to the other is just perfect.(It's more like a tram stop in the street and ten paces takes you to the hotel door. There's also the fantastic Poschiavo Plus scheme giving free unlimited travel by bus and train throughout Val Poschiavo from the snows at the top of the pass to Tirano in Italy, if you stay two or more nights in participating accommodation. (Yes - that is the UNESCO world heritage Bernina Express route)

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The hotel is full of charm, blending historic character with tasteful modern touches. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, featuring a spacious and relaxing bathroom. As vegans, we appreciated the extra effort the hosts made to provide us with suitable breakfast options. We’ll definitely stay here again — next time we hope to try the restaurant and bar, which were unfortunately closed during our visit.

Everything in this hotel is excellent as in excellent above and beyond my expectations. Staffs are very well coming and friendly. Breakfast is delectable with wide selection of great food. love the fruit jams, croissants and coffee are indulging. Rooms are well lit, clean and comfortable, wi-fi is strong and steady. How I wish I stayed longer. I went to Poschiavo for Bernina Express panoramic train experience. I did glacier express to St Moritz, came here thru ordinary train and go to chur the next day from here. I’m glad I did, its tranquil and serene place, small town but big enough to go around if you want to have a calm quiet moment to walk. Compare to lautherbrunnen and Grindelwald, Poschiavo gives you serenity. Next time I come back to Switzerland I will go back in Poschiavo and stay in Suisse hotel again.
